Perfect hotel in a perfect locationPosted Dec 31, 2013
Great hotel in a great location on the main square; rooms at the front are best, but we'd have been happy anywhere; great choice for breakfast; clean and welcoming; parking provided (though a bit of a stroll away!); everything nearby, or easy to get to; loads to see and do in town; lots of great restaurants all around. Would recommend strongly.

Perfect for Day of the DeadPosted Nov 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
This beautiful little hotel is directly in front of the large plaza, and a block from the small plaza. Shopping and restaurants all around. Traffic is difficult both in and out of the area. The hotel restaurant is fine, though the meals are twice the price of a good restaurant next door. They serve a little basket of sweet breads with breakfast. We found out that some people chose package A that included free breakfast, while we inadvertently chose package B without breakfast included.A little secret is the hotel has a bar/restaurant with live music in the back. A little secret: you can ask for coffee to be sent up for free at a specific time. The best food ended up coming from the little taco stand in the plaza for 6 pesos each. There is an HSBC bank/ATM down the street. Also, there is a large supermarket less than 2 blocks away.

We love the Mansion Iturbe!Posted Nov 6, 2013
Pros: Room, location, support staff.
Location: For the Dia de los Muertos activites, the tianguis are literally across the street. Cabs are easily accessible to tour the villages.
We have stayed at the Mansion Iturbe 3 times. Each time it has been a very pleasant experience. Its' location for the Dia de las Muertos activities and tianguis could not be better. On those nights it can get quite noisy, but the rooms muffle the sound quite well. The support staff, especially the charming Rafael, are the best!

Fantastic!Posted Nov 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
We has a great time at this beautiful historic hotel. Our room was warm ( it can get cold at night in Patzcuaro) The bed was super comfy and the entire hotel was really clean and well taken care of. The restaurant has the best breakfast in town and I really can't say enough about the staff. Everyone there was so warm and welcoming, helpful and professional. Lastly you can't beat the location right on the square, close to everything. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Patzcuaro

Quaint and comfortablePosted Oct 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a nice hotel located in the center of town. This was slightly inconvenient for us because we were here for work. The parking garage did not open early enough for us. The two restaurants in the hotel really made it very comfortable. Actually a very nice hotel to stay if you are on vacation. The staff was very accommodating.

Thanks for your comments, as the Parking lot is not inside the Hotel, we have to follow you Schedule, but we will try to fix that. Always nice to hear good suggestions as yours and very glad you enjoyed your stay with us.

Very quaintPosted Oct 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel has many details that you wouldn't expect from a hotel at this price. Having two restaurants in the hotel really made it convenient. The time breakfast starts isn't conducive to conducting business. Overall pheasant stay.

Thanks a lot for your comments, we have put attention on them and we will try work on the time breakfast starts. We are glad you had a pleasant stay with us at Hotel Mansión Iturbe.
