Good location, good value but the rooms are dark

Posted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: Location, interesting space, roof terrace and breakfast.
Cons: Acoustics and wifi
Location: 4 blocks from everything a perfect short walk through interesting back streets. The center is bustling all the time so the side streets are mellow.
Good location in a great city, staff are lovely. It's a tiny hotel that uses the outdoor space well to make it feel bigger. Breakfast was superb, served in the courtyard. Rooms are very clean but very dark (I suspect the room on the front has windows) and quite claustrophobic. Wifi isn't the best in the rooms but works well on the roof deck. Biggest problem is the noise within the hotel, the place echoes so you could hear every footstep from my room.

Great price and only 5 min walking distance from the Zocalo/Centro. Small but cozy place with a nice roof terrace

Great little gem

Pros: Service, privacy and breakfasts.
Cons: Electrical outlets in the bathrooms.
Location: Saying centrally located says it all.
Centrally located in a quiet area. Superb, dedicated, very courteous and prompt service from all hotel staff. The free breakfasts are fully organic with fresh juices, healthy items and typical regional dishes. The only down sides are the parking garage that is a block away and it closes at 11 PM. Secondly, there were no electrical outlets in the bathroom. For the price theses are minor inconveniences.

Easy walking to all the important sites and resta

This modern boutique B&B was a refreshing architectural delight. At first we were concerned about the lack of a window in he bedroom but we soon discovered that this was a plus - no city street noise and no dust ! The a/c was silently efficient, the room decor and ,the quality of the bathroom toiletries were high-end. The breakfast was amazing...12 0xs of fresh squeezed orange juice plus a full meal served with friendly quiet efficiency, was notable. Highly recommended. Morelia Centre was everything we could have wished for. The friendly helpful people and the cleanliness of such an old city was remarkable. .We walked everywhere. Three days seemed hardly enough!

quiet location

Its only a few blocks from downtown Morelia. The neighborhood is quiet. Small hotel with only 7 rooms. Friendly helpful staff. The only negative is that our room was very humid and had no windows. The bedding and mattress felt very damp.
