We arrived earlier than we anticipated, and we were allowed to check in early. We went up to our room and it was spotless. The temperature was a little on the cold side, but we adjusted the thermostat and that helped. We enjoyed our room, it was quiet and we were able to find things to watch on the tv. The breakfast the next day was wonderful. Thank you for such a nice stay.

Great place to stay. We have stayed here many times now and every one has been pleasant. Things happen anywhere but when they happen here they are very friendly and accommodate us the best they can. Pool and hot tub are always clean and breakfast is very nice. More than most places have! Thank You

Very clean and friendly personnel and good breakfast food with a convent location and easy to get to from Midway airport.

Rooms were very comfy and breakfast was super. Pool is very small.

“Not our best experience”

The hotel is pretty new and was is nice condition. One HUGE problem I had was with the bathroom sink, it has the absolute worst faucet setup I've ever seen in a hotel. The handle extends straight out across the sink bowl and it was such a pain, I could not wash my face or brush my teeth without hitting the handle, I was extremely frustrated, it's the poorest design I've ever seen in any hotel we've stayed in. Also the cleaning person left us without any kleenex even after I removed the empty box from the holder and placed it on top of the bathroom sink counter, took the empty box and didn't replace with new kleenex.

There was a sizable wet spot just outside the bathroom with no one to clean it up. For a relatively new hotel, they don't appear to be maintaining it that well. At the price point, we expected more. Breakfast room was good sized and offerings were great. Lobby and halls made the place look super, but (as the song says), no one knows what goes on behind closed doors - maintenance wise.

“could have been better”

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Morris before while traveling with my children, however this trip was just my husband and I. I opted for the whirlpool suite (paid extra for this room) but the tub only had one jet that worked. When I turned on the jets ( the ONE that worked)...unidentified flecks began floating in the water. Needless to say I should have just settled for a regular room because when I told the front desk attendant about the issue nothing was done to rectify the issue.
