“Very reasonably priced, clean and comfortable hotel”

We spent 4 nights at Super 8 in Morris, IL The hotel is older & can use a new facelift, but it served us well. It was clean, comfortable, and the service was very good. It is very convient & easy to get to. Convienently located on the hill at Rt. 47 & I-80 just inside town. My wife is a big coffee drinker so it was nice to have access to free hot coffee 24 hrs a day. The staff was very helpful and took good care of us. Next time we are in Morris, we will most likely stay there again.

“The Super Normal 8”

Hotel was fine kind of out of the way from the surrounding towns...pretty expensive for a night in that part of the state/country for just an ordinary Super 8

“The shower was great and the room was okay! Good location. Cheap breakfast.”

I'd stay there again. Many things were right. The breakfast was minimal, but we stayed here due to the low price so we weren't surprised. If you stay on the second floor, be aware there isn't an elevator (so for some, this may be a consideration.)

“YOU CAN TELL IT'S THE ONLY MOTEL IN TOWN”

THIS IS A VERY RUN DOWN MOTEL. FURNISHINGS WERE OLD & OUTDATED. OUR ROOM WAS SMALL. DIDN'T REALLY CARE TO WALK AROUND BAREFOOT IN THE ROOM, BECAUSE THE CARPETS WERE NOT CLEAN. OUR ROOM WAS IN A HALL WAY WHERE THEY HAD THEME ROOMS. I FELT LIKE I WAS IN A PLACE THAT MAYBE RENTED THEIR ROOMS BY THE HOUR. THE BREAKFAST WAS A JOKE---DIDN'T EAT THERE. THEY SET OUT A BOX OF FROZEN WAFFLES AND HAD OLD FRUIT.

“Terrible”

We just returned from our stay at this Super 8 and we will never stay there again. First of all, I want to say that we are not picky people with unrealistic expectations, we knew this was a budget motel. However, the room we stayed in smelled so bad that upon coming home the odor remained on us and we had to wash all of our clothes-- even the ones we did not unpack. The whole place could use a good cleaning. But the worst part of the weekend was a young woman who was working the desk. Every encounter we had with her was unpleasant. She was curt and unsmiling and refused to accomodate any request we had. The morning we were leaving we asked her for one extra hour to check out (at noon rather than 11:00). In a very rude tone of voice she refused. It would be understandable if the motel was busy, but it was not. When we checked out my husband tossed the room key card on the desk in front of me (I swear, he just tossed it). Then, after we asked her for the manager's contact information she accused my husband of throwing the key card at her and said she was going to "make a note of it." I think, of course, that she did this to cover herself (make us appear at fault) since we intended to complain to the manager. She seemed to be a very unhappy young woman, and her attitude soured our weekend. I recommend spending a little extra money and getting a different hotel if you stay in Morris.

“WIll Never go back!!”

The room was ok, but my sisters debit card number was stolen from there and $1000.00 was taken and charged at an airport in the middle east!!
