Put us on 3rd floor with dogs, tub clogged, piped in bird noises at night, a an unfriendly desk person, no remote for TV, no answer at front desk.

Not a Good Idea

The room was a hotel room. It had the minimum amount of amenities. There are spots on the ceiling and repairs that need to be done. The internet never worked. They did not come by to clean the room the room the whole stay. Had one towel and one wash cloth in a double bed room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for the price that I paid.

Cons: Stay somewhere else.
Asked for a non-smoking room. I know this is difficult because you can't necessarily stop people from smoking in a non-smoking room. But our room reeked with cigarettes, almost as if someone had JUST smoked a pack of cigarettes in there minutes before we arrived. We asked for another room which they accommodated immediately. That room was fine enough except it took about 6 hours to get it to a temperature where our teeth weren't chattering. And, the "continental breakfast" consisted of a few slices of bread ready for a toaster, a single piece of fruit, bad/old coffee and large containers of cereal. :(

Don't expect much

I booked this because it was close to where I was working and it had a free breakfast. Don't expect to eat anything the only thing they had was cereal and it was so stale that no one was eating it. I was out side loading stuff into my truck and the wner came along and turn all the light outside off so I couldn't see anything. They turn the air off while we were gone and we had the do not disturb sign out. The owner is cheap and don't ask for anything casue you won't get it.. Not worth it..

Room was suppose to be a smoke free room. Room smelled like an ashtray. Sheets on the bed had burn holes from someone smoking. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work.

Stay was exactly what we needed. When we are travelling from destination to destination we want the essentials. This facility met our expectation. We were greeted kindly. Room was clean and convenient to parking. We were satisfied with our stay.

My Stay at Newport

Pros: The staff was pleasant

Location: plenty of shopping and places to dine.
There was several dissapoinments, about this room. The light over the sink was not working. The toilet ran every so often, which kept me up at night. The location of this place was near the interstate. he road noise was very evident. The a/c unit did not appear clean (dirt and dust) so I avoided using it.

Big Mistake!

Broken bed, water leaking from the ceiling, Bill was wrong and people working couldn't speak English well enough to fix it. That has to be my worse hotel experience ever.
