Attentive staff, and good choice of reasonable food. Main comment is that the hotel needs a tidy up. Walls in bedroom, and tiles in bathroom cracked. Carpets stained. Tatty worn furniture. You may think from some of the photos that it is by the beach, but a dual carriageway and mud/salt flats separate the hotel from the beach. Nice spot to relax and do beach walks. Can be a tad windy. Not cheap or easy to travel from Airport to hotel. Probably wouldn't use this hotel again.

My girlfriend and I chose the club premium package at the hotel which was exclusive for adults only, swimming pool areas, restaurants but still allowed to use the main facilities. Enjoyed the fact that it wasn't only buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner, there is an al a carte restaurant and a canary island Spanish tapas restaurant.
In close proximity to the beautiful beach. Lovely weather for November the top temps we had was 25 degrees.
Fantastic food, comfortable and clean rooms, bi lingual staff very helpful. We will be coming again!

Excellent apartments in a particularly good location in the old town. Beautiful uninterrupted views of the Atlantic. Spacious apartments. The only drawback is the lack of wi fi. A single computer terminal is available to guests.

Champagne on arrival, great service, never had to queue for breakfast (perhaps due to a quieter time of year - early April). Variety and quality of food for breakfast was excellent. Spa is very good, outdoor pool is excellent, crystal clear. A bit on the cold side for some but excellent if you like to do some swimming. Had to pay for the safe, about 10 Euros for the week - these things are usually included nowadays. WiFi was extra too but most Hotels still seem to play that game. Great variety of things to do at the hotel. Very pleasing to walk the promenade outside the front, good and varied range of shops, prices were not bad. Plenty of restaurant choices outside and near the hotel - much the same on offer but quality quite varied - some excellent food to be had, about 70 Euros for a family of 5 including drinks at the better places. Lots of small supermarkets.
Does not take long to walk to the beach - 5 mins, well worth it. Sunbeds not provided by the hotel so they are for hire. Not really needed if you take some beach towels (which are included), the sand is so soft, dry and warm :)
Some great jogging to be had, can run for about 45 mins on the running track parallel to the sea or for hours along the beach, not much movement in tides so despite a few rocky places heading North, fill your boots!
Great place to hire boards towards the North but its about 45 mins walk, worth it though, nice little area of trapped water on the sand for young children to play in too.

Beautiful hotel with really nice facilities. One of the pools was being refurbished, but they allowed us to use the facilities at the sister hotel on the same grounds. Only took up this offer once as there was no issue with noise and the area has been well screened off. Excellent range of food with the hotel going out of its way to provide variety and something a little special each night. Pleasantly surprised at the range of drinks available. San Miguel on tap, many main stream brand spirits all freely available. No children in our party, but their club seemed well organised with lots of activities and a children's disco each night. Adult activities (archery, shooting, cocktail making, Bingo) also arranged. Entertainment staff worked exceptionally hard- we're very friendly, but not "in your face". Well done Iberostar. Will definitely consider coming back.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The 1st time we had a pool-side room which was excellent. This time round we were given a room facing onto the main road which in itself was not a problem. what was the problem was there is a disco immediately across the main road from the hotel that is supposed to have a licence to play disco music until 2-00am but instead pounded out music until 4-30am in the morning with the vibrations coming up through the floor of the hotel and making it impossible to sleep. The hotel staff who are all really excellent, were reluctant to do anything saying it was a police matter and the police were not interested. It took the hotel 3 days of our 7 day stay to move us and other guest's to alternative rooms that came with thier own problems given the hotel was fully booked. We were there H/B and the Asst. Manager up-graded us to AI as a way of compensating us.As already said the staff are all excellent and friendly, the hotel building and grounds are clean and user friendly. The food is on the good side of mediocre with breakfast being the best meal of the day.The clients of the hotel are mainly elderly German which we knew and were fine with, though they do like to book thier sunbeds around the pool early in the morning. The Hotel is in a good area with excellent shopping and eating places and is very close to a long stretch of sandy beach.

Lots of steps so not good for pushchairs/disabled access. Great hotel for families with older children and couples. Good location but expect to pay 100 euros for a taxi from the airport if you haven't got a transfer booked! One hour journey time, but worth it for the beautiful beach. Great food, caters for all tastes and vegetarian.

not enough hot water for 2 people to have a shower
50 stairs to climb, so not great for push/wheel chairs and no, there is no ramp or lift
cold and damp at night
pillow felt like a wet spunge
ants or some other insects on the floor
loud and noisy at night, other rooms had "parties" and the reception closed at 18.00
window blinds were broken in our room but "nothing could be done"
