Cons: The elevator was filthy. The floor was sticky and needed mopped bad.
I paid in advance to get non smoking with a late arrival and when we arrived all they had left was smoking. they said that since I had booked though a third party like Expedia that this can happen. That I should I should have called them. I did call them on my way and they said it would be held ok. However the desk girl said they give them away to first preference.

Please know that we are sincerely sorry that our elevator and your room floor were not up to standards during your stay. I discussed your comments with the team, and we are making retraining in being more diligent in keeping inline with our cleanliness standards. Although we try everything in our power to accommodate every guest we can not guarantee smoking preference. Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to provide you with a better stay the next time you're in the area.

Location: Lots of nearby attractions but this hotel was atrocious
First I was told that I had no reservations. Next I left all my contact info and my fiance's also because we were both traveling from out of state to meet here as a midpoint and noone contacted either of us to tell us that there was any type of issue. Then I called 3-4 times prior to arrival to ensure that things would go smoothly due to the "I'm sorry, but we have no reservations for you" after giving my confirmation number and asking if they would like for me to fax a copy of my receipt to a reply of "That won't be necessary". So my fiance' arrives a few hours before I did and they kept telling him that they had no information, were completely booked and the room was only listed under my name so they couldn't let him in making him wait in the lobby (for almost 3 hours) until I called and gave them an ear full! We will NEVER use this service again. Horrible experience. Terrible staff.

For our guests safety, any time a reservation is made we must have that person's ID at check-in to confirm our information. We chose this hotel because #1 it was still available last minute #2 it was an excellent price and #2 close proximity to Atlanta Motor Speedway ( 15. 8 miles) #4 cancellation up to 24 hrs. before. Room was very clean and spacious. Full kitchen wasn't necessary for this trip but definitely a PLUS for a family who would come to ATL area to spend time sight seeing / games or looking at colleges. We didn't use the free breakfast because we slept in late. We are going to go on sight seeing vacation in Atlanta (using city pass) next spring break and we have already decided to use this hotel.

The Chair in the room was spotted with who knows what. And when checking out no guest service rep was available. I had to go back to my room to connect with an operator to checkout, the phone in the lobby was without service. My room was suppose to be non smoking but it didn't smell like it. The best thing about this hotel was the fact that it was right off of the interstate and the staff was nice.
