Continental breakfast

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Cons: Breakfast
Continental breakfast was way bad. other than that it was just fine. The rooms were clean and great for the price. Would stay again.

Language barrier

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Breakfast is picked up daily at 9am even on the weekend when their room book says 930. And no elevator to the second floor so if you have trouble with stairs your in trouble.

Clean hotel and clean rooms! Decent location!

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Clean rooms and decent breakfast
Cons: I kinda felt the desk staff could have been a bit friendlier. Their manners were good but they seemed like they didn't want to be there
Location: We stayed in Morton, IL. and it was 20 mins from Mackinaw Valley Vineyard and Winery. We went there for a wedding and the place is beautiful to go to
Although we didn't spend too much time there, being is that we were only there one night, I thought it was very nice. The hotel was clean and our room was very clean and kept up. The bed was really comfortable. However, the cable kept having a glitch like picture on some channels but that wasn't too big of a deal. Even the breakfast had much to choose from and seemed good. Overall, I thought it was a great place to stay.

Bit shabby but clean and comfy

Posted May 10, 2014
Pros: The bed was above average - made for a decent nights sleep!
Cons: Dated decor and finishes could use improving
Not bad. The decor definitely showing some age, lots of worn out finishes - but the room was clean and didn't have that stale 'hotel' smell. Bed and pillows way better than many other hotels - and it was quiet (weekday business trip). Couldn't help but notice the weirdly low placement of the shower head. Could be a problem for anyone tall (I'm 5'7" and it seemed about level with my head)) and the water temp and pressure varied widely while taking my shower. Not terrible though. Staff were very nice. I'd probably stay again.

Disappointing stay

Posted Apr 2, 2014
Cons: Have a little compassion and leniency when requests such as these are made.
We had to book a place rather quickly to attend my mother's funeral. I requested a late check-out in order to change clothes after the funeral, but was told that was not possible, even though I mentioned the reason for doing so. We would have just needed a few minutes, but they insisted they had to clean the room for other guests, even though no cars were in the parking lot when we left. We will be making many return trips, but will not be staying there.

Pros: Easy to find with plenty of nearby restaurants.
Clean and quite. The breakfast was a bit scant, but was passable.

Be sure you get what you book!

We were VERY disappointing to arrive in what we booked as a king suite which was to include a Jacuzzi tub only to find it did not have a Jacuzzi tub in the room. When we went down to the front desk to let them know the room was not what we booked they informed us that there were two different kinds of suites and what we booked did not include the Jacuzzi tub. Upon returning to our room I pulled up the Baymont Inn website and found the listings of their rooms - You can choose between a 'King Bedroom'(no Jacuzzi tub) or a 'King Suite' (Jacuzzi tub) so obviously when we booked a 'King Suite' we expected the Jacuzzi tub in the room. We were highly disappointed to drive 2 hours only to not get the type of room we booked.
