Value for money
Posted Jan 12, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: Bed not comfortable
Location: Close to central sites
For Moscow this hotel was reasonable value for money and location is good. It is in need of decor upgrade and replacement of beds which I found to be quite lumpy. Building work nearby was noisy at night.

Honest 3*
Posted Jan 9, 2013
Pros: Free WiFi
Cons: Couldn't turn off the heating; couldn't turn on the aircon!
Location: Central; walkable to places of interest.
Perfectly fine for a 3* - good location - rooms a little tired.

Great stay!

Awesome location! Close to the metro station Arbatskaya, which is important when you just arrived, and the Kremlin. Only took us 20 min to walk to the Red Square! And it was a very enjoyable walk :) Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. There is a very beautiful restaurant downstairs that was a perfect dinner spot and also offered a great complimentary breakfast for guests of the hotel.

Excellent possition for visiting central Moscow
Posted Jan 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Rooms small clean and basic but good value for city center location. Double room was better than twin room offered for my children. Hotel could not be in better postition for visiting main sites in central Moscow. A few minutes walk to Metro, 10 minutes to the Kremlin. Staff had resonable English, and willing to help but not very well informed about typical tourist venues etc. Dinning room is very pleasant, and breakfasts good. Lunch box supplied for early departures before dinning room opens. Over all thought this was very good value.

Very pleasant stay and great location

Pros: The staff that worked in the reception desk.
Cons: Restaurant is pricy and portions small but food is good.
Location: 20 minute walk to Kremlin/Red Square. 10 minute to Metro Station Arbatskaya and 5 minute walk to the Arbat Art and Souvenir Shops and more.
Reasonably priced for a great location, quiet small street. Staff is very helpful and most speak acceptable English. One kind lady in reception went out of her way to find a thermos for my train trip to Siberia when I couldn't find it in regular stores. Definitely will recommend this hotel.

too expensive

The overall quality of the hotel was poor, particulary it is so if the price is considered.

Great Location
Posted Jan 30, 2012 on Hotels.com
Great location within walking distance of metro and ul Arabat, a shopping/restaurant street. The hotel is on a side street and is quiet. Staff very helpful. Rooms adequate, small and clean but in Moscow, location is most important and this hotel has it. Hotel has changed its name to Arabat House and can easily be confused with Arabat Hotel.....they are not the same.
