Tried to keep the deposit.

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Nice hotel for a good price, but they failed to re-credit my deposit to my credit card. Obviously they were hoping I would not notice. There are other nice hotels in Moscow that don't try to trick you out of your deposit.

Good hotel for a business trip

Posted Jun 9, 2015
Pros: clean and good location
A centrally located spotlessly clean hotel with a good breakfast and gym, but no pool. Not really 5 Star, but a reasonable 4 star. My room was on the 10th floor with great views over Moscow. Hotel is not quite as glitzy as some of the newer Hotels in Moscow.

That Putin's Russia je ne sais quoi

Posted May 17, 2015
I really like this hotel. It's very clean (if a tiny bit threadbare) and up to international standards, but you feel like you're really in Russia--it has that kitschy post-Soviet feel, without the bad parts about Russian hotels. The view from my room, on the 17th floor, was incredible. The location is convenient--steps from Old Arbat. It's close to Kievskaya metro station and railroad station, though the walk there is a bit tedious, involving either a long flight of stairs from the bridge or a dash across a very wide and busy street/highway.

Really nice and centrally located hotel

Posted May 17, 2015
The hotel is in the city center and 10 minutes far from red square by car. Rooms are big enough and clean. I recommend the restaurant at 23 floor. They have really tasty shrimp soup made with coconut milk.

Very old hotel from the 90s but worth the stay

Posted Apr 3, 2015
Pros: good price and convenient location
Cons: restaurants
Location: arbat street, close to metro
although the hotel is quite old, its rooms and decor are from the 90s, but it's well maintained and very clean. very convenient location. their restaurants and breakfast are not that good, very limited selections.
