Pros: Water filter, shower and beds.
Cons: Access to the room and location. Staff were not overally enthusiastic but were helpful if asked.
Location: Very close to train station but a little far from the Red Square and other tourist attractions.
Access to the hostel was a bit full on when you just arrive as we were told by security that we needed to call them and give them our passports when this wasn't the case. The room we had was a 3 bed which was located off another room (a 6 bed dorm) - one night we were locked out of the main room and it took some time to get access to our room. The reception staff were helpful but one could barely speak English which made it difficult for us to arrange our transfer to the airport and get other information. It is not a good place if you want atmosphere. The showers were great though and there was a water filter which is always good. The beds were comfy too. The biggest issue was the access to our room which you wouldn't have if you booked any other room. The location of the hostel was good in relation to the train station but was on the other side of the river from the Red Square and other main tourist locations.

we arrived O'hostel at 6 in the morning after a long flight from Beijing, all we wanted is a hot shower and take a nap. apperantly the room was unavailable till 13:00 because it was occupied till then by other tourist; we were shocked no one told us we'll have to wait 7 hours (!) to the room to be ours, we've been in contact to O'hostel before we arrived and still they thought it's o.k not letting us know we'll have to wait so long. so we traveled Moscow in those hours- freezing Moscow, we got cold, our vacation in Moscow ruined beause of O'hostel superficial behaviour.
