Even though my husband and I did not have a car we had no problem in walking to take a bus and enjoy the place. All hotel staff very cordial and nice.

An oasis in the middle of nowherePosted Dec 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Pros: great food in the restaurant both for a German dinner and continental breakfast buffet (quite good breakfast for only 5euros per person); free parking; gorgeous ambiance; generally clean room and bathroom though the shower was clogged. Make sure you have a good GPS as finding the place may be challenging especially in the dark. A nice stay for visiting the region. Cons: we asked for a nonsmoking room but our bathroom reeked of cigarettes and could not get another room as the hotel was fully booked. The walls are thin so we were woken up a few times due to noises in other rooms. Also no wifi in room and weak signal in common area.

Best hotel on our trip!Posted Aug 29, 2013
Pros: Everything...especially breakfast & location
Cons: not a lot
Location: You really need a car to get to this hotel, although I did notice a bus stop just up the road. Woods surround the hotel
Brilliant all round experience...good English speaking staff, and very helpful. Drinks were a reasonable price and the breakfast was amazing! If you want a room with a good view, book room overlooking city. Although around 3 miles out of city the location high in the hills over the city, was fantastic & it didn't take long to get into the city. Would recommend to anyone visiting Trier.

Great Location for visiting TrierPosted Jul 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
An excellent hotel in a great location overlooking Trier, with friendly staff and fantastic food. As a family with 2 young children, family rooms are something of a rarity so to find a hotel with a family room with two separate sleeping areas was great. Well equipped room away from the main hotel building with pleasant surroundings. Dinner on the terrace overlooking Trier and the Mosel river completed a great first day of our German holiday.

Beautiful hotelPosted Jul 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
We loved this hotel. It is a beautiful facility with very helpful, friendly staff and excellent food. It provides a restful getaway after a full day of sightseeing and yet has very easy access to all of the sights downtown. We would love to stay there again!
