I mistakenly booked the wrong date and missed my reservation. The hotel kindly allowed me to move the stay without penalty.

Clean, friendly, convenient

Nice hotel for an overnight stay. Railroad tracks are close, but that's true for the whole town.

Great Hotel near Gorge Ampitheatre

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Comfy beds, micro & fridge in room. Friendly staff, clean rooms, easy parking, smaller 2 storey hotel.
Cons: The pool needed a vacuum (murky water) and could use another patio table outside of pool area with umbrella.
Location: Walmart, Safeway, Restaurants 5 mins drive. 1/2 hr to Gorge Ampitheatre (awesome). Gran Couley Dam 1 hr (mini grand canyon experience).
Best Western Hotel in Ephrata was best accommodation (reasonable priced), within 1/2 hr of Gorge Ampitheatre (easy drive). Beds were very comfortable, microwave, fridge, LED TV, clock, blowdryer, ext. sink with separate toilet & shower/tub combo. Very friendly staff in 2 storey Hotel. Had free ice tea, tea, coffee & cookies in lobby. Free breakfast 7 - 9 am had cereal, toast, bagle-maker, fruit & yogurt, juices, coffee, tea, etc. NIce cafe style seating with TV & computer overlooking the pool. The pool needed a vacuum though. You could barely hear the hum of the train that goes by once in a while behind hotel. We were worried about the train, but didn't even notice any noise. Also a tavern & gas station next door. Walmart & Safeway 5 mins drive away. Overall a nice place to stay. Really enjoyed the Concerts at Gorge Ampitheatre (awesome venue). Also enjoyed 1 hr drive to Grand Couley Dam which was breathtaking drive up there (past Soap Lk) and Dry Falls look-out was fabulous too with good burgers & ice-cream stand. Clean, comfortable

While this was a quite hotel. It is close to train tracks; although noise limited if you are a light sleeper you might notice trains at night. Overall a nice place to stay.

Comfortable little hotel in Ephrata

Posted Apr 1, 2014
Pros: Location was good, comfortable room/bedding, free breakfast
Cons: Our kids wanted to use the pool in the evening, but there were some men drinking and smoking in the pool area (which shouldn't be allowed).
Location: Great walking/bike path along the canal and mountain biking trails in the hills.
We stayed at the Best Western in Ephrata for a mountain bike race that my son was competing in along with some friends of ours. The inn was clean, the service very good (missing keys were replaced quickly, extra cot arranged with no trouble), and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms were also comfortable and walls were not paper-thin (if we had any noisy neighbors, we certainly didn't hear them). Our friends needed a handicap-accessible parking place, and there were plenty at the inn (and a couple of slanted spots right next to the front door that were easy to access with the large vehicle and easy to get wheelchair in and out of).
