Adequate for a remodeled facility

Posted May 1, 2015
Cons: The breakfast experience
Location: Cafe across the parking lot and another across the street. 2 gas stations and easy access to the highway.
The front desk is friendly and very helpful and several food choices are within a 5 minute walk. The rooms appear to have all new finishings and are very clean. I expect the building has been remodeled as there is no elevator to the second floor and they still use real metal keys. The breakfast is in a very small room, the breakfast room sink was filthy, and they attendant barely awake. This experience is less than I expected given the other Shilo Inn I stayed at. Besides the breakfast experience I would say this is a good place to stay if the price is right.

Keep driving

This is our second stop at this hotel and has deteriorated substantially since the last year. Rug had several worn spots and just days from being worn right through. Wifi ran slow and could not get on link at all. Tried the computer in the Business office and was no better.Took over 40 minutes to get E-mail account open and then was inundated with pop up adds. Good thing did not need to print a boarding pass.

Cons: Breakfast was a joke! Free newspaper advertised but the staff looked at me like they had no idea what a newspaper was.
Shilo Inn going downhill fast! Advertised with free breakfast and free newspaper, I don't consider prepacked pastries breakfast. Won't be going back.

Perfect for this Trip

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Price, pool/hot tub, room size and amendments.
Cons: Some repair work in the pool: ceiling, water fountain, hot tub breaker
Location: OPur interest was fishing and this is idea to fish the Potholes Reservoir and Moses Lake. Tri-State Outfitters also has an extensive suppoy of gear at
My friends (5) and I had planned a 5 day fishing trip to Moses Lake/Potholes Reservoir and having stayed at this hotel in the past I recommended it to them. The 6 of us rented 3 rooms for 2-4 nights and afterward they all reported complete satisfaction with the accommodations for the price. We all intend to return in the fall for the same purpose, and hopefully will have another 1 or 2 along for the experience.

Dear Dave, We would like to thank you for providing us with feedback on your recent stay with us. It is great to hear back from our guest and know how there stay was. We are looking into updating our entire pool room; ceiling and all. As for the spa breaker we are very sorry that it kept the spa from functioning properly. Our maintenance person has already looked into it and has repaired the issue. We are very happy to hear that you will be returning again in the fall. Sincerely Araceli Tapia General Manager

Would not recommend this hotel

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: This hotel was located in Moses Lake, WA I would never stay there again and there's nothing to do in town.
Having booked 2 rooms we thought maybe it was just our room that was unacceptable, we were wrong. Advertised having free wifi in every room we discovered that was not true, wifi was unavailable in all rooms both days. After the first night we asked to move rooms since the tv did not work and the phones did not work in room 2... We also came back to our room to find housekeeping did not clean or replenish our towels and smelled as if someone sat in our room and smoked a cigarette. (These are all non-smoking rooms) After moving 10 doors down we discovered our "new" room had a tv that was even older than the first room and what a surprise...it did not work either! AND no wifi in either of the 2 new rooms! I checked the date on the back of the tv, it said 1989 what does that tell you? I would never stay here again and the hotel could use a major overhaul!!! Disappointed will not recommend to anyone.
