The breakfast was generous in its choices and the quality was good too. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We certainly would recommend it very highly.

Air conditioner in room was very noisy. In a good hotel, one can usually have air conditioning and sleep at the same time. Here, you had to choose.

Nice hotel to find.

Pros: Staff, room, location, pool.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Lots of choice of eatery nearby.
We were met by some lovely ladies on reception. Check in was very quick. Room was spacious with a decent size fridge. Good breakfast and pool was lovely. All in all a great hotel.

Friendliest Staff

Posted May 25, 2015
The bathrooms are laid out very odd. The bathtub has a valley in it that will trip you up, and the door stopper is right outside of the tub so when you get out you step on it and it is painful. The best staff ever and very clean.

Cozy hotel in a charming little town.

Posted May 9, 2015
Mount Airy is a small town where Andy Griffith lived and it became inspiration for Mayberry USA. The expectation then would be for small town comfort and lots of southern charm. The town certainly lives up to that, and so does this hotel. I have stayed at many Hampton Inns and would put this very high on the list of properties that I have experienced. The property is nicely updated and maintained. The rooms are larger than average, comfortably furnished and exceptionally clean. The bed (key factor) was so comfortable we wanted to take it with us. The housekeeping staff left personalized notes that showed their pride and made you feel welcome. All staff that we encountered were very warm and responsive to helping improve your stay. Even the free breakfast was done a little better than the standard fare. Overall, I think this is great value for a wonderful stay.

Nice Hotel in Mayberry (Mt Airy, NC)

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Pretty much everything!
Cons: Water pressure for the shower.
Location: Parking was a little scattered but not bad.
We checked in a little early with no issues. The room was very clean with things laid out in clear view. Also a very nice touch in having a laptop desk for you to use while sitting in the chair or laying in bed. Bathroom was very nice with plenty of towels and Neutrogena lotion and hair products. The only thing I wish had been better was the pressure of the water in the shower.

Nice hotel

Posted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: This Hampton Inn is one the best decorated , cleanest, friendliest Hampton Inns I've visited.
Location: All was very satisfactory.
Accomodations were very nice, staff very helpful, and proximity to restaurants and hospital good.
