A Victory Inn - Mount Clemens

not a very nice room for the price

My wife and I stayed here about 10 years ago, and upon planning our return to Mt. Clemens, we foolishly thought it would be the same. Checked in to our room and immediately discovered there were no pillow cases on the bed. The pillows they provided were so stained and nasty, my wife and I decided to go purchase our own pillows. Place is supposed to be no smoking, but stunk like an old ashtray. The smell of marijuana filled the dark hallways, and the stariwell was worse! The security door that is intended to keep non-guests out doesnt work, and really wouldnt matter as the halls are not air conditioned, so the fire exits were all proped open anyway. Wall paper peeling off the walls, and just really really dirty. We would have gone elsewhere, but it was the 4th of July and all hotels were booked! Ruined our romantic long weekend completely. My wife was terrified to stay in the room alone, and refused to leave without me joining her. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!

Did not stay. There's nothing more to say. My parents had to make alternative arrangement once arriving.

great staff, friendly and helpful. enjoyed my stay. however, the water for shower could have been warmer. overall--great stay.
