I had a restaurant really close to the hotel,which was really good. What i disliked is that you cannot refresh the room,as you have no option to open any window, and the bathroom area was cold ,no ventilation sistem for the whole room space

Our entire hotel has a ventilation system that is constantly running, it is not like a house with bathroom exhaust fans that can be turned off and on. I apologize if this as not communicated to you ahead of your stay. We look forward to seeing you again!

My overall issue wasn’t with the hotel itself but Expedia. Dealing with Expedia was an absolute nightmare. I put in the date I wanted to stay and by the time I got to the checkout section, Expedia’s website changed the date to 2 weeks later. Expedia tried to charge me $100 to change it. After 40 minutes on the phone with them, I got charged only $30 more which is still not fair in my opinion b/c it was their website that was the problem. The customer service rep for Expedia was rude and obnoxious. I had the option of paying $25 more or not being able to cancel a room 2 weeks out and getting charged anyway. Do yourself a favor and skip Expedia and go straight through the hotel itself.

Hallways and rooms were falling apart, piece of wood was hanging off ceiling and when I got into the room it looked like someone had laid in the bed. In the gym the defibrillator case had the glass broken and a piece of glass on the floor.

Good experience
Very clean place, we had a great stay. Best part is there is a Millers Ale House right in front of the hotel! Dude at the front desk was kind of a weiner when checking in Saturday night, sarcastic as heck when all I asked was what floor my room was on. The following day, the lady at the front desk was super nice, watched my daughter while I went to get the car as it was pouring out. Pool was great, although there were no towels left on a Saturday night, still a good experience as I just ran up to my room and grabbed a towel. I will say, for a Saturday night, would be cool if the pool would stay open past 9pm. I would definitely stay there again.

Front desk was a bit aloof. Didn’t even look up when we walked in. She continued to do whatever she was doing on her screen for a while even as she asked for my id and credit card. Also the glass on the sliding door to the bathroom was cracked badly.

Nice stay
It was nice and quite, very clean, bed was so comfortable but should have extra pillows. The shower was the best, just the right amount of pressure, hot water was so good. Love hot showers. Only thing the water kept coming out the shower and the floor was getting so wet alot of water on floor. Should address that but besides that shower was amazing. All hotel staff we interacted with gave us a wonderful greeting, thank you for your hospitality. Will definitely stay again

Not worth the money at all!!!
For the amount paid for a 2 night stay, find somewhere better. Every wall in our room, and almost every corner, the wallpaper was peeling off. Not a little, huge corners. The bathroom door is painted white on the back side, somebody left their dark grey paint peints all down one side of the door. Holes in the walls. Water stains everywhere. Wood furniture has huge chunks of wood missing. Very poor looking for what they're chargong and the brand they're supposed to be showcasing! Go elsewhere!

Common areas are terribly dirty. Pool is out-dated, unheated, and dirty. Parking lots are full of trash. Rooms aren’t cleaned or turned over daily, let alone throughout the entirety of your stay. WiFi network is unguarded. And, it’s prison rules for bath towels: need to visit the front desk attendant for clean towels. All that for $800 for 4 nights!

As an Aloft, we are 'different, by design' and we do not provide the same services as a full service hotel. However, we do provide housekeeping every other day if guests opt in when they make their reservation, as well as by request. We are happy to provide additional towels and room amenities at any time. We provide free high-speed internet to all of our guests. We are also in the process of renovating our guest rooms and common areas, including our pool and lobby. After staying in ALOFT in Ashville, NC (which was amazing), we were disappointed in the Mt. Laurel, NJ location. The carpets in the hallways were dirty - stained and also looked like they hadn’t been vaccumed. The rooms were clean but again, the carpets looked dirty. The front desk staff were friendly, but seemed like housekeeping staff may be lacking. For the price of the rooms, and the ALOFT name, I was expecting more. We had reserved a 2 BRQ room but when we arrived, they gave us a handicapped accessible room because no other queens were cleaned. We didn’t like taking the room from someone who may actually need the room.
