Needs renovation. Bathrooms are dated.

No problems other than requesting joining rooms ahead of time and then having to wait an hour for 2nd room to be cleaned in order to accommodate.

Affordable alternative to Philadelphia hotel stay

I stayed at this property years ago when it was a Hilton and it was falling apart. They did a great job renovating, however plumbing in the bathtub still needs work.

Gorgeous Hotel

I got a great deal on this hotel using the expedia site where you only see the star ratings and not the hotel name and get a reduced rate. I felt like I got the deal of the century with this hotel - it was absolutely beautiful!!

Not worth the money

Was supposed to get a king bed and only recieved two doubles

The front desk had a hard time finding a bell-man's carts to move my luggage. We were told to wait until the carts got to the lobby. The person didn't know where the carts were. After a long wait and repeated requests the front desk personnel went to the room next to the restaurant and got us a cart. This was one bad experience. The rest of the crew were proactive in following up with requests.

pleasant stay

The location was very convenient, only 10 minutes away from downtown philly. It was in a safe, clean neighborhood. There is even a park right outside where you Can go running. There is a gym inside but It's very small...2 treadmills and 2 ellipticals, but some were out of order. The room looked and smelled clean but the bathtub had hair on the walls..which was a little icky. The only other downside is the food. There is No complementary breakfast...it costs at least $15. There is a restaurant with a buffet inside the hotel but it is pricey. Good thing there is a Wawa not 5min away where I was able to stop by for a morning coffee. The experience was pleasant.

Staff gets high marks because they were very professional, helpful, and friendly. Food and drinks were good. Only negative was that the buffet breakfast on the second day was cold.
