My daughter was bit on her neck I’m gonna say more than likely by a bed bug. The pull out couch was stained with God knows what. I understand that the property is being renovated and updated. So I won’t even rate the pool area.

I really wanted to enjoy this hotel. We booked a double ovcupancy room with queen beds. Beds were definitely not queen size. We also booked a non smoking room, the room smelled of smoke. I couldn't even sit in the seating area because i was having difficultiesbreathing due to tye odor and allergens. The screen door was broken along with the panel in the closet. These were looked at in a decent amt of time. My son thoroughly enjoyed the pool however it was a shame we were unable to comfortably relaxbwithout needing allergy/asthma medications due to the smoke odor and allergens. Ice machines were also not working. Food at the hotel restaurant was mediocre.

The washer and dryer didn’t work and the front desk said they couldn’t help me so I ended up just going to Walmart to get pants for my kids. The bed had hair in it and stains on the sheets. On Expedia it says the hotel offers breakfast but it’s a restaurant you have to pay for. Way over priced for the quality of the room.

People were great and friendly. Always wanting to help. Food was good. The only negative was the wall were thin, meaning you could hear the people in the hall and next room almost like they were sitting next to you.

I check out about 4am we didn't sleep. First of all the customer service is awesome at the hotel. However my experience was terrible with no sleep... the smell of marijuana, the rude behaviors at the swimming pool....the beds were horrible and very small...I booked for a family of 5 and the room was very outdated and broken....when I said broken the toilet seat, wall paper falling...the springs on the bed were felf. The pull out couch had dry white spots thay look like ..... from couples that been there prior...the smell of the room was pure ash trays. I was offered 2 room that were the same condition or worse. I was asked to reach expedia which I did and was told I can get a refund for my stay to just stay put till I recieve an email from the property. I did receive a email in which the property refused to give me a refund. The manager did call me and was very nice. She then offered me 2 rolling bed that were in worse condition then the pull out couch, but my stay was the worse and shame on you guys for not offering back my family and I a refund. Oh the shower was filled of mildew all 3 rooms showed.

The heat was off in our room and it was 36 degrees outside. Maybe turn on the heat when that room is supposed to be occupied. The “lobby area” at check in was under construction but the staff was nice and doing their best.

Lobby is under construction. The hot tub (reason I booked here ) isn’t operational because they are going to reconfigure the pool and remove it . Will never be back .

Not what I wanted
I wanted a little getaway for the kids. So I booked this room because it said it had a kitchen. No kitchen,just a sink. So I had to but food. Also said it had breakfast. I assumed it would be complementary. Nope they had a restaurant that you can pay for breakfast. So I couldn’t cook dinner. I couldn’t cook breakfast and I also had to buy it. The heat couldn’t be above 78. Which means we couldn’t get in the pool because if we came back to the room wet we’d probably catch a cold. We slept in sweats because the suite was so cold. I had a reservation from Friday to Monday. I immediately went somewhere else after 1 night. The front desk was pleasant, room was clean but it’s not what I wanted.

It was so many things that went wrong & usually I love staying at DoubleTree hotels. The issues should and could have been resolved properly but we’re not. I was very patient about things initially. Then it just became overwhelming. Especially being moved 3 times into different rooms and then getting into our last room and the tv not phones didn’t work! It was very inconvenient and disappointing. Some of the staff were very nice nonetheless. They kept saying they were sorry but like I told one of the young lady’s who said she was fairly new. I told her it should have been someone available to assist me properly. We even had to ask for towels repeatedly!

The first room we stayed in had a leak from the toilet, and the coffee maker was dirty. We were on a lower floor and we could hear people walking upstairs. We changed rooms after the first night. The second room had a dirty carpet smell. The cleaning was not done after the second night. We enjoyed the indoor pool.

In my line of work, I stayed in a lot of hotels. Hands down this one takes the cake for the best customer service. Was greeted by a gentleman who cared about how my day was going and took time to place a chocolate chip in a microwave to hand me a warm cookie. It's the little things people. At night when I needed something, he went as far as saying the hotel did not have any at the moment but quickly offered to run to Walmart to get it for me. You dont see that a lot. My room was exceptionally clean and spacious.

The room was disgusting, with broken and stained furniture. It was so bad, we did not even dare to sit on the chair or couch. We would have left if it had not been so late when we arrived.

Fabulous Stay
We had a wonderful stay! Jacqueline made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for during our stay, from checking in to checking out. I hope this gets to whenever needed to recognize her service. The restaurant staff as well was extremely accommodating and pleasant. I was in the hospitality industry for 20 years and lately when we go out, I don’t feel very appreciated or welcomed. That was absolutely not the case with this stay, while and large it was a refreshing experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable (the decor a bit dated perhaps) and the kids LOVED the well-maintained pool and hot tub. Thank you!

We stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding we were attending. We've stayed at many DoubleTree properties and this was by far the worst. Thankfully, your staff at the front desk and the amazing team at the restaurant made up for the lack of appeal. Our entire floor (3) smelled like weed the entire time. Our room smelled awful was beat up, the bathroom was dirty, the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor when you showered. The ventilation in the bathroom is so bad that the ceiling is peeling so bad. When we reserved we called to confirm the amenities and specifically asked about breakfast. When we arrived we were told breakfast was available at a charge. (unreal for the price that we paid) In the mornings you had coffee stations which remained empty (yet, cups available) Honestly, I could go on and on. The fire alarm going off was unreal. Especially, after we found out it happens often. (you would think management would get this handled ASAP) Again, thankfully the staff at the front desk and the restaurant were great! The company of our friends made the stay great! Otherwise, it was not a great stay.

Thank you for recognizing the staff at the Front Desk and in the Restaurant. The hotel is 100% non-smoking, which we inform every guest at check-in and there are notifications posted in the suites. But not every guest respects the policy and other guests. Once notified, our team will make every effort to locate the guest, request they stop or ask them to depart if they continue to violate the policy. At DoubleTree brand hotels, breakfast is either inclusive with a breakfast package, an earned benefit as a Gold or Diamond member (not applicable to third-party reservations) or purchased in the restaurant. Also, Expedia's website states breakfast is at an additional fee. I apologize for any miscommunication.The fire alarm went off after midnight on Saturday due to an issue in a guest room caused by the guest's actions. As part of the life safety systems, if a smoke detector is triggered the general alarms will sound. By county regulations, only the fire department is permitted to silence these alarms. On Sunday, our alarm company was performing tests on the system to confirm everything was working properly. I hope you had a wonderful time at the wedding, and had a great time with your friends.
