Decent hotel and great price.

Posted Jul 22, 2014
BBQ restaurant adjoins hotel. Food was only passable. I would advise going elsewhere. I had reserved a room with a king bed and they gave me a room with two smaller double beds. The lady at the desk said that's all they had for singles. I guess if you are single you shouldn't count on them to follow-thru with your reservation. She also made comments about me booking online. As if it wasn't a good thing for them and since I booked online I was not entitled to a receipt. Otherwise the room was decent and the price was great for that area.

Thank you Expedia!

Posted Jun 9, 2014
I was booked for another hotel that after booking, decided to close for renovations during the time of my scheduled stay. Expedia booked me at this Holiday Inn, a better hotel for the same cost. The hotel front desk called me an hour after my arrival and asked if I needed anything. They brought me what I requested right away. The room was nice and it was clean. It also had both an indoor and outdoor pool. Two thumbs up on this one.

Close to Philly

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Overall we just needed somewhere close by to stay for our trip to Philly. It was cheap which was good. The room was comfortable but there were spots on the rug and had an odd smell in the room. You have to pay extra for breakfast so we paid extra to have the breakfast buffet. We didn't have a waitress although when signing to charge breakfast to our room a waitress randomly came over and said to fill in gratuity-came off to be a little rude and on the spot.

Convenient place to stay

Posted May 19, 2014
Pros: It was convenient to where I needed to be, clean and quiet.
Cons: I used the hotel restaurant for breakfasts, more for convenience than anything else, and they were only so-so.
Location: There were restaurants etc nearby -- as I said, I was mainly there for one purpose & didn't really explore the neighborhood.
I booked the room at this hotel because it was the closest one to the town where services were being held for a deceased friend. I was a little worried when I got there & the guests trying to check in seemed to be having a difficult time doing so, but once I got to the counter, I had no problem. Staff was pleasant, room was clean and quiet. In the morning, I had to iron the shirt I brought, & the iron in the room would not heat up. I called down & someone brought up another one, & then came back a minute later & said he had tried it in the hall outlet & it had worked. As it turned out, the problem was that neither of the outlets I had plugged the iron into were working. That night, I took a facial tissue out of the box in the bathroom & it was the last one -- had to call down for another box. It was these little missing touches or inconveniences that made me give the hotel a lesser grade than others had.

My room was not availible upon check in so I was forced to wait for another room to be cleaned. This room was directly adjacent to a conference room which featured loud music and talking until 2am. I could hardly fall asleep.

Nice stay.

Posted Apr 15, 2014
We stayed here and drove into philadelphia for two days. We had an excellent time. Easy transition into town. Across the street there are shops (nordstrom, best buy, .. etc), resturants (panera, starbucks, .. etc), and a grocery store which is nice to have for the little things I forgot to pack. Room was comfy, the only problem was that our room was close to the ice machine and I could hear that thing dropping ice all night. I was also bummed the pool wasn't open, but it was early april so I can't really blame them. The hotel is close to the train if you wanna take that into the city. When you went to exit you could only exit right out of the parking lot, if you wanted to go left you had to do a u-turn. It was super goofy, I saw alot of signs that said u-turn. I don't know if that's a New Jersey thing but I really did not like that. Otherwise a great stay.

The bed was comfortable and the area was quiet.

Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Nothing the hotel can change. The streets in New Jersey are one-way which makes it complicated to make a legal U-turn.
Location: The amenities near by are convenient if needed. I had easy access to stores if needed and restaurants.
The bed was very comfortable and the area was quiet. I slept very comfortably. The bathroom was very clean, also.

Not impressed

Posted Feb 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
Walking into the lobby was like walking into a old retirement home. Old, boring and people sitting on scattered chairs, they should dress it up. My biggest issue was the room 125. This room is between 2 conference rooms. The conference rooms where not being used so the room was freezing. It took 5hrs to warm up. This must be there hotels.com room.

I was rescued here

Posted Jan 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
During the artic freeze we had up here(I live 3miles from the Holiday Inn) my hot water heater AND my central heat broke at the same time. It was 5degrees out and now i had no heat or hot water. I also have a little dog. I showed up to the holiday inn completely stressed and it was late. When I walked through the doors I was greeted warmly by Sean(I think)and I'm not sure the woman's name. They couldn't get over how cute my dog was they gave him treats, they were friendly and very professional to me. I will never forget how for the time I was checking in I was laughing and talking and it allowed me to temporarily forget the situation at the home I had just purchased. I was given my key and away i went. The hotel is in very good shape, well lit and a decent staff/security presence. The room was nice and clean. Comfy king bed, a couch and desk. Also the flat screen tv was a nice touch. All and all it was a pleasurable experience during a difficult time. I will recommend this hotel to anyone. Also, you cannot beat the location. Red hot an blue restaurant is connected, Across the street is a shopping center for everyone. Wegmans, nice restaurants, and a nordstrom rack, plus philadelphia is just 6miles down the road.
