“Beware - Hotel under renovation”
We stayed at the hotel for two nights in order to enjoy the attached cocokey water park. the water park was great but the hotel was annoying. We had drillings and banging noise in our room due to renovations that took place all weekend (saturday and sunday) starting at 8am, It was unbearable on the 9th floor so they moved us to the third floor but we still heard the noise. Also, the service is just bad as they are understaffed or just don't care to give a good service. Food in the hotel was gross and there was 30 minutes wait to be seated for breakfast. Altogether we had good time since we spent most time in the water park which was great but I am not going back to this hotel again.
“Mount Laurel (not Marriott)”
Poor service and poor attitude from the staff for the most part. Better choices nearby for around the same $.
“Great Location if using Waterpark....but this is no longer a Marriott Hotel”
Expedia offered a rate that was far less expensive than the hotel's website (Now called "the ML Hotel") and included the waterpark. This was a Marriott, and the hotel and rooms still have some remnants from that period, but it is essentially now just an OK hotel with a waterpark attached.
“Very Impressed”
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel
“Nice location and service but currently renovating”
Nice location, lots of space, nice room service, but construction drives me nuts. Should be better when renovation is over.
“Beware of cold faces behind front desk”
With another friend couple, my wife and I arrived at check-in late in the evening. There were one male and one female agent behind the front desk. Like robot, their attitude were cold, showing no smile and long face. All that gave us a unwelcomed feeling. We wonder why...did they over work or had a long day?
“Avoid Fridays and Saturdays and most likely all of summer....”
We stayed two nights, Saturday and Sunday, and it was like two different hotels on both nights. On Saturday it was a zoo...dozens of teenagers, mostly girls, running around the halls, blocking the elevators and being so loud you couldn't have a conversation in the lobby with hotel staff. I understand there is a water park attached to the hotel so I knew there would be kids but at 10 or 11pm having to adult supervision and running around is not ok. There were numerous hotel staff members around but not one asked any of these children to calm down. I would not stay there again on a Friday or Saturday or during summer...now Sunday was a nice quiet, respectable hotel.
“Functional”
First room smelled of smoke even though the hotel is smoke free. They switched us right away. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly.
“Room reeked of mildew”
This hotel is certainly not 3.5 star quality. The decor of the room was nice, though it could have definitely used some new paint/wallpaper. That's really the only good thing I can say about it though. The hotel is under construction and from the outside, certainly looks like an eyesore. The front desk staff seemed disorganized and were not overly friendly. It took longer than it should have when checking in and checking out. My biggest complaint, however, was that upon entering the room, it absolutely REEKED of mildew. It was coming from the air conditioning vents. If you have allergies or are prone to getting congestion/sinus infections, do not stay here! It's been 4 days since my stay and I'm still sick from it. Before realizing it was coming from the air conditioning (and therefore all of the rooms probably have the same issue), I called and asked to switch rooms. I was rudely told that it was impossible and that they were completely sold out. I find this hard to believe, given that I booked my room through Expedia's "undisclosed location" special rate only hours before. I also didn't see or hear other people staying anywhere near my room and the parking lot was not overly full. Oh...and I almost forgot! One of the beds was broken! The box spring must have been snapped because the bed completely sunk in the middle when I laid on it. They didn't bother to ask how my stay was on my way out, but needless to say....NOT good.
“somewhere to relax”
It was a great hotel to relax and get away. The waterpark in my opinion is for smaller children.
