Not a 3.5 star hotel

Posted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: It is convenient to where I wanted to go.
Cons: Needs a complete quality-control makeover..
Checkin was very difficult. They didn't have the paperwork. Blamed Expedia. The room was clean when we entered, but we stayed 3 nights and it was not cleaned very well on a daily basis. I needed to get new keys four times, as they didn't work. Only one elevator worked in the entire hotel on a Saturday afternoon-evening and it was a large hotel. The hotel was loud. You can hear into the next room very easily. This is NOT a 3.5 star hotel. It would be a stretch to say it's a 2.5 star hotel. Staff seemed nice enough, but didn't really care that my keys did not work four times in three days. DO NOT stay here if you do not have children--part of it is an indoor water park and kids run the halls until 1 a.m. It was exhausting!

Stayed here due to a storm that knocked out our power....the room had a wet smell to it...the ac really did work...the bed had a ridiculously loud spring squeak to it...

Spacious and Comfortable

Posted Jun 9, 2015
Pros: Great for family vacations or for an event.
Cons: rooms could use microwave
Location: Children museum and restaurants are 5 min away. Close to shopping centers and mall
I really enjoyed my recent stay with this hotel. The room was clean and spacious. I had double beds and they were comfortable. the hotel has its own pool, but you can pay for the waterpark. Both options are fun. I ordered room service for breakfast and it came ontime and taste good.

Great location

Decent hotel in a great location...close to all major highways and easily accessible. Many restaurants located nearby and shuttle service available within 5 mile radius, which was nice. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable, towels were clean and fluffy. This is a great middle of the road hotel.

Good stop off, Excellent hotel if you have kids.

Posted Jun 2, 2015
This hotel is excellent with the water park attached if you have kids. The water park isn't really for adults although it has a bar. The bar tender was great at the water park. The hotel is ok, the staff is very friendly. I booked thru Expedia and the hotel double billed me and had to spend time to correct it. Had no hot water for a day. The bar and food were very good. Not really for the corporate traveler line my self

Good stop off for Families

Posted Jun 1, 2015
It's a good hotel if you like a place on the weekend for 500 kids running around. It's a very good hotel for families traveling. The bar is good with friendly service and the food is excellent. It's not a place for the business traveler like myself. They also double billed my credit card above what Expedia had charged me and that's a total inconvience for me.

Ok hotel, getting a little run down

Posted May 27, 2015
The worst part of my experience was my check in as I believe we booked a 2 double bed room and u ended up getting a king with a pull out. My front desk person must of realized that this was the case and brought someone more senior to assign the room. That's when I was informed about what I was getting and that all their 2 double rooms were sold already and that Expedia should never of sold me a 2 double bed room

Badly in need of a facelift

Posted May 26, 2015
I was sadly disappointed in this hotel, especially because of the price of the room, which places it in comparable range with 4-star hotels within walking distance. The rooms are shabby, furniture damaged, and decor sad. The elevator broke multiple times during our stay, requiring lots of stair climbing, which was good because you couldn't work out in the gym due to it being overrun with kids. The only positive comment was the excellent and attentive bartender in the hotel bar. When the kitchen forgot to make my order, he offered a free beer, which was unneccessary but appreciated.

Business trip overnight stay

Posted May 21, 2015
My experience was very good, I arrived late around room very comfortable. I had an evening meal in the restaurant that was very good. I retired early in a comfortable bed. I awoke early in the morning anticipating a great breakfast before traveling early to my business appointment. The only problem encountered was that the restaurant did not open until 7:00AM. By that time I had checked out of hotel due to business appointment. Otherwise entire experience was very good, better than expected.

Outdated. Needs upgrading and friendlier staff. Rooms pullout mattress could not be any thinner. Rugs were stained and the entire place needs upgrading. Best thing about the stay was the room service, but only for dinner. Breakfast was horrible.
