Hotel staff were very attentive & accommodating! Breakfast was a little pricey but did receive a cimplimentary Sat breakfast. Would be nice to have coffee earlier on Sunday mornings. Other than that, great stay!

Best hotel ever. We stayed for 3 days, and it was absolutely perfect. Every morning we were welcomed, and asked how we slept and how we like the hotel. The continental breakfast is just out of this world! The pool was clean and was very well kept up. We will definitely stay at more Hampton Inn &Suites, and definitely this one if we go back to Charleston!!!

Made last minute reservation and got a great rate. Hotel is within walking distance of a great public boardwalk along the Shem Rivver and restaurants and bars. Sat on our balcony and watched all the activities on the water. Paddle boaters, sailboats and Shrimp boats all docked at the pier.

We were staying there and visiting family at Wild Dunes. The staff was excellent. Great attention was paid to cleanliness of the property. We had a GREAT bed. I rarely sleep the first night travelling but this was a wonderful exception.
We would stay there again without hesitation.

This Red Roof Plus offers good value. We had a clean room with an appealing interior and dealt with courteous staff. I would have appreciated a fridge in the room, but I would not hesitate to stay there again.
The hotel is easy to find, both the public beach and downtown Charleston are about 15 minutes away in your car. The Mt. Pleasant area is nicely developed which I also consider a plus. Instead of building a long commercial strip, the city obviously chose to design this section of Hw. 17 in a more enlightened way: intersections create pockets of commercial zones with enough trees to be inviting. The overall character of the area is pleasant indeed, which matters to your overall experience.
While the hotel does not offer breakfast you can literally WALK around the corner to the next plaza to find different restaurants, a Starbucks and a Harris Teeter supermarket. You can DRIVE to a Whole Foods in 2 minutes and a Trader Joe's in 3 (if you are not into the whole brevity thing). Your drive to the beach or to the city take some time but are very straightforward.

I am from New.ew Zealand and the hotel was too far out of town for a week of stay. There were taxis but as experienced travellers we would have liked to be in the town district.
We were in your hotel for a week conference. However no reflection on the hotel. My room was lovely.
