Hotel AconchegantePosted Sep 26, 2014
Pros: Bem aconchegante
Location: bem próximo do centro de Custer
Check in rápido. Quarto na ala do hotel reformada. Bem grande e confortável, cama excelente, AC, geladeira, TV, WI-FI.

Custer Dakota Cowboy InnPosted Sep 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was another night on our tour and we've stayed in a lot of places. It was very cool when we arrived but soon warmed through with the heater on. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good and included a hot option, that's a first so far. Overall it was excellent value for money.

Værelserne er umiddelbart lidt mørke, men hyggelige om aftenen. De er pæne rene og rummelige. Hotellet er ikke nyt, men pænt og ordentligt!

Best for Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, RushmorePosted Sep 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was clean and comfortable, the wifi worked great. The breakfast was generous: Biscuits and gravy, waffles with strawberries and whipped cream, scrambled eggs, cereal, fresh coffee. There was coffee in the room as well (decaf, too, which is my preference). Fridge was handy. The staff was great, very friendly, helpful and outgoing, knowledgeable about the sights, too. Lowest price we could find in town. Great pie place a block away. The electrical outlet for the hair dryer didn't seem to work, but there were enough others to go around. The pool had already closed (Sep 7), but I guess the temps dropped pretty low a day or two later.

Avoid if you can - choose a different motelPosted Sep 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
When we arrived, the receptionist seemed as if we really bothered him. We wasn't friendly at all and ignored us for the first 10 minutes. Very off putting first impressions. The room was one of the worst we stayed in during our 3 weeks road trip. And we don't expect much from cheap hotels, but this room felt cold, ugly, not welcoming and we just wanted to get out. Quite far from all the restaurants, too.Office closed upon check-out - which meant I didn't even get the bill from our stay. I would recommend you stay somewhere else during your visit to Custer.

Best breakfast we have had on our trip. Near enough to all of the sites we wanted to see. Very friendly staff.

OK for what it is.Posted Sep 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were booking on the same day due to a change in plans so our options were limited. This is an old school motel where you pull right up to the door. On the plus side it made it super easy to load and unload the car! The room was musty smelling when we entered so we opened the window in the bathroom. Unfortunately it was one of those old fashioned crank windows. The window got separated from the track and it was too high to reach. Luckily it was a comfortable night so it wasnt too much of an issue. The fridge and microwave were old but usable. The towels needed to be upgraded. The shower water hit me in the middle of my stomach. The whole place just needs to be upgraded. Wasnt horrible but not a place i would choose to return.

Je n'ai jamais écrit autant de critiques négatives sur des hôtels auparavant ! C'était moyen moins en résumé (serviettes de toilette vieilles, douche bizarre et lits pas terribles )

First stop on our westward ho vacation.Posted Sep 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
When we first arrived in the early evening the hotel clerk seemed to have been half asleep, the first room he assigned us had not shower current, after we let clerk know he had us move to another room on the opposite side of hotel.

Good location at the edge of town.Posted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Hot water in shower not readily available--needed to crank the handle to full to get any. In-room coffee would be a welcome plus.
Location: Deadwood was impressive and interesting.
Motel was very easy to locate. Outdoor metal grate stairway to second floor not welcoming, especially difficult in the dark. Not enough outdoor chairs for relaxing outside. Needed to go down out-of-door stairs and across parking area to get coffee in the morning.
