“convenient, clean, good restaurant”

Good location, nice pools and spa. The restaurant had good food and great prices. Conveniently located. We'll stay here again.

Area recommendations
Really good restaurant in Hill City, the Alpine. Fun sculptures in town. Lots of wildlife in Custer State Park.

“Excellent hotel - good value”

This hotel is in a great location close to many sites, restaurants and shopping. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived later at night. They have an on-site coffee and ice cream shop and even though they had everything cleaned up - they happily made milkshakes for our children and specialty coffees for my husband and I. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. If we were ever in the area again we would not hesitate to stay here.

Area recommendations
Baker's Bakery and Cafe is on Mt. Rushmore Road within 15 minutes from this hotel. I am a very picky eater when it comes to pastries and such and they have some of the best doughnuts I've ever had. They have caramel rolls that are a meal in themselves and absolutely amazing! The rest of my family ordered breakfast sandwiches that covered their plates and were made with homemade buns. We stopped at Mt. Rushmore before going to our hotel - a must. The next day we traveled to Devil's tower and then on to Yellowstone - one of the most scenic and amazing places I have ever been!

“Sturgis 2010”

It was great to stay at the Best Western during our Sturgis experince to visit the Black Hills. It was so close to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood, and the scenic byways. We had a great time there and would stay there again for another Sturgis Bike Rally.

Area recommendations
Alpine Inn surved a great dinner and the breakfast buffet at the Best Western was a must. The Seattles Best Coffee Shop was awesome at the Best Western was so convenient.

“Perfect Location in the Middle of the Black Hills”

The property is the finest "Best Western" I have experienced. Beautiful grounds, nice rooms, an onsite Cafe/Restaurant and an "express" coffee and dessert stand off the lobby. It was also pet-friendly. It was very centrally located in the Black Hills area - Close to Mt. Rushmore, Wind Cave National Park, Jewel Cave National Monument and Custer State Park. Located on the edge of Hill City, it was surrounded by beautiful green forested hills. It was more like a resort than a motel.

Area recommendations
The main street running through Hill City has a number of quaint places to eat.

“Average accommodations”

The hotel gave a $20 discount for eating in their restaurant but the food was not very good and the selection was small. It was also pricely, so the discount was to get ou to eat there but it was not worth it.
