Made our stay extra nice.

Posted Oct 8, 2014
Pros: It had a friendly staff and was very clean.
Cons: The shower head needs fixed.
Location: Custer Park, Mount Rushmore, Needles Highway, great things to see. The hotel is an excellent walk to town. The town offers some nice shopping.
We were just staying one night and they upgraded out room at no cost. We appreciated it so much. We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the area really neat and clean.

Nice hotel close to national parks and Crazy Horse

Posted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: Great complimentary hot breakfast.
Good location and reasonable rates for tourist area. Easy access to Custer State Park, very close to Crazy Horse monument, and not too far from Mt. Rushmore if you're visiting there as well. Cute downtown area to walk around, some local restaurants and shopping places in walking distance.

Custer City, SD

Pros: The location and ease of finding it. A very nice free breakfast was ready everyday from 6 - 9 a.m.
Cons: I can't think of anything at the moment.
Location: Location was easy to find and there were many nice restaurants within a two block area. We ate at one directly across the street - very good.
We stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Custer City, SD for three nights in mid September. We were in a one room suite and it was great. It was nice to have the extra space for our three night stay. The location was very good and very convenient to all of the sights. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you Expedia. Close to Custer State Park

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Good location
Location: Custer State Park is a must see - we encountered herds of buffalo and very helpful park staff - we hadn't even planned to stop there, glad we did.
Spent one night here on our way west to Yellowstone. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Good restaurants right across the street. Breakfast was good with many choices to fit most appetites.

Two-Day Stay Extended to Three

Posted Sep 14, 2014
We met our son and grandson here to ride the George S. Mickelson Trail in mid September. The first night we (and the whole area) were surprised to get 8 inches of snow and unseasonably cold weather. We asked for an additional day extention and got it thanks to an exceptionally helpful staff! Started our ride a day late, but the trip turned out to be a big success! Great room, great staff, great area, beautiful bicycle trail!

Location: Don't forget to see the lighting of Mt. Rushmore at 10pm. It's worth experiencing, but don't forget to see it by day as well.
We had a great stay. Clean rooms and quiet. The staff was helpful in finding the right place to dine for vegetarians.

Fun weekend getaway!

Posted Aug 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
My fiance and I enjoyed our time in the Hills. Our hotel experience was great except two things: (1) the hot tub didn't push out water out of the jets and (2) the cleanliness/attire the front desk staff was wearing seemed unwelcoming. The room was great, the bed was more firm than most, the breakfast had a great selection and the location was perfect for our weekend getaway.

Basic hotel, easy to find.

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: It was along our travel route.
Cons: Price should be lower.
Location: The hotel was close to jewel cave & Custer park.
This is a very basic hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the usual continental breakfast items.
