Nice hotel on the mountainPosted Sep 3, 2013
We came late at night but we called them beforehand so staff was waiting for us with key. Not a bad experience ! We stayed only the night there and was so tired but felt good. Room is clean and ok.

Stay elsewhere!Posted Sep 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Table + 2 chairs placed in front of TV - pretty useless and should not be in room. Customers expected to park across the street while a tour bus took up 10 of the 30 or so available parking spots. Pillows were paper thin and a mattress that needed to badly be changed out, we had to sleep in separate beds. There are better places to stay in the Black Hills than this, if I had to stay at this place again I would be driving to Rapid City.

close to Mt RushmorePosted Aug 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
room had a small kitchen with stove, frig, microwave, toaster and even dishes, silverware and few pots & pans. No breakfast provided at hotel, however. Beds were comfortable. Would consider staying again if we are in the area.

Pros: Proximity to Mt. Rushmore
Cons: The air conditioning needs to be updated
Location: Very close to Rapid City and Mt. Rushmore
All though it was close to Mt. Rushmore which was great the hotel did not live up to its name. Our room was muggy as we were on the 2nd floor above the pool inside. The temperature could not be controlled it was either too cold or not cold enough.

good no frills hotel close to Mt. RushmorePosted Aug 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was fine. No breakfast, but the pool was nice. We really like how close it was to Mt. Rushmore.

Best price.Posted Aug 14, 2013
Pros: Very friendly staff. Took care of All our needs.
Cons: Parking lot is very tight. Loved the overflow parking
Location: Right in the middle of everything
We stayed over the weekend. We checked in late and the staff was great and got us in our room really fast. The only negative I can say is that the parking lot is really small and crammed. Dont park a truck in it.

Nice HotelPosted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: clean rooms, friendly staff, nice pool
Cons: wish they had a breakfast
Location: near Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park and the Crazy Horse Memorial. Town of Keystone had nice shops.
I wasn't sure what to expect, as the reviews I had read were both good and bad, but when we checked in, we were pleasantly suprised. The location was great and everything in the town was in walking distance.

Good location; small parking lotPosted Aug 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel was just a few miles from Mt. Rushmore. You couldn't get much closer. Rooms were fine, but nothing special. Coffee was in the lobby. A carafe was supposed to be in the room. We didn't have one, but it was easily rectified. Parking lot was extremely tight. Small spaces, lot was irregularly shaped and it was difficult to drive around. At one point, a large pickup did not park fully into the spot and you couldn't drive by. By the end of the day, the lot filled and overflow parking had to go across the street. If you have a nice car that you prefer to park away from others, I would look elsewhere.

Not impressive. Cleanliness questionable.
