Great Stay to See National Parks/MonumentsPosted Sep 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
We loved this hotel! The staff was super and helpful for directions and dinner suggestions and went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable. This road trip of ours was over 3400 miles and this hotel was our destination stay for four nights. It has a pool, hot tub, laundry and a newly revamped breakfast that was fantastic! Imagine your typical hotel breakfast of cereal, fruit, toast and then add hot eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy and waffles. We almost didn't need lunch! The location is safe and within a couple of blocks from Main Street and a little more to the 1880's Train. Plus it had a gas station and mini mart in adjoining parking lots which made fill ups and late night snacks very easy. We definitely would stay here again!

Wonderful accommodations!Posted Sep 28, 2013
Cons: Can't think of a thing!
The staff was very friendly and helpful about directions to various points of interests in the South Dakota area and even gave us better directions then we thought for Devil's Tower in Wyoming! The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was a nice touch! Anyone wanting to take a trip to Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monument should stay here -- it's close enough to get there and the town is very nice! I'd recommend this place to anyone!!

Hill city is central to all activities in the Black Hills. Numerous eateries available. Hotel just blocks from 'downtown'. Had room with view of Hills. Excellent breakfast offered. Very nice set up and pool area large enough to accommodate and relax around.

4 day stayPosted Sep 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were promptly greeted at the front desk. The desk clerk was very courteous and helpful. Our room was next to the pool, but you barely heard any noise coming out of there. The laundry room was just across the hall and we used on our last day. Our room was kept very clean and was a welcome sight when we came back from a long day of sightseeing. All of the amenities worked. The breakfast offerings were plentiful, good, and kept constantly filled. The breakfast room was always kept very clean. Although there's a deck for outside dining, if there's inclement weather the breakfast room is too small to handle the crowd. Overall, the motel is well maintained and is well situated for sightseeing. We definitely recommend staying here

Good location but not much else.Posted Sep 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is located very convenient to the local attractions. We found a great restaurant (Desparados) on our own because the desk had no interest in recommending anything. But the unforgivable sin of this hotel was the pillows. There was one choice and it was a few rocks (small) with a case around it. Miserable night. I don't ask much from a one-night hotel on a driving trip but I insist on a usable, if not comfortable, pillow.

Quality Inn was Quality Place to StayPosted Sep 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel is in nice location in downtown Hill City, a short distance from the shops and restaurants. We found it very convenient to Mt. Rushmore which is about 12 miles away and also Crazy Horse which is about 10 miles away. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was adequate, the typical hotel breakfast. Room was clean and simple, staff was courteous. Would definitely recommend hotel for a trip to the Black Hills.
