Cute, cozy hotel in the middle of everything.

If you are looking for a rich hotel with valet parking, a doorman and room service with an extensive menu, this place is not for you. As a family, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean & the owners are friendly. The continental breakfast is just that - a continental breakfast. If you don't want it, don't eat it. We didn't use the pool, but came for the sites anyway. Thank you for your hospitality, Roosevelt Inn. PS. The pizza at their restaurant was outstanding.

Great hotel

We had a great vacation the room was in good condition the bed was comfortable the better part is that we went to the zip line infront of the hotel and it was an easy location to be able to go to Mt.Rushmore and Custer Park,Black Hills and Needles Highway. Also a good pizza place on the bottom of the hotel.

Great hotel close to Mount Rushmore

Posted Jul 11, 2015
We were running late and we called the hotel and they got us into our room even after the lobby closed. The room was nice and comfortable. It is 4 miles from Mt Rushmore.

Wonderful Time

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: It was quiet, clean, and near so many great attractions. The pizza parlor on site was wonderful.
Cons: More gluten-free food options for breakfast and better parking would be great.
Location: We really enjoyed Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, and the steam train ride!
This is a great hotel and close by so many attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

Outdated hotel - needs a ton of updating.

Posted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: The location.
Cons: This place needs a complete overhaul - it will not survive with the competing hotels.
Location: Mt. Rushmore etc.
The room we were in was pretty bad......view of the back overflowing trashcan, the shower was absolutely terrible (extremely low shower head, extremely small - barley room to turn around and shower comfortably for the average sized person. Honestly, the room was barely acceptable, white wash paint, tacky furnishings. It was fairly clean, however. We ended up canceling our second night and booking at a nearby hotel which was so much better and $20 cheaper.
