Last minute trip to Black Hills

Posted Aug 8, 2013
Pros: Location, price, pleasant accommodating staff.
Cons: This is an inexpensive place to stay but do the beds have to be that hard to be inexpensive?
Location: Centrally located to Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, Spearfish, Deadwood, caves, all the scenic drives and tons more.
This is a decent place to stay and the staff was very accommodating to us and wanting to make things work for us so we would stay. And we did stay. But the beds we tried were so unbelievably hard that we ended our stay a day early because we couldn't stand it one more night. So if you like incredibly hard beds you're gonna love it.

Mattress like a rock!

Posted Aug 7, 2013
Pros: You could walk to everything in town.
Cons: How about a bedspread that has been washed in the last year??
Location: Lots of cute stores in town; townspeople very friendly. Don't eat at the Mexican place across from the Super 8; they charged $7 for a single burrito.
The mattress was like a rock; several outlets did not work; the breakfast room was filthy and poorly stocked. Disgusting.

Conveniently located

Posted Jun 23, 2013
Pros: Location. Room was comfortable and clean but nothing special, especially for the price.
Cons: Improve the breakfast. Update room.
Location: Many good restaurants and shops within a three block walking distance. Conveniently located to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument, and Railroad.
We were there to take the Black Hills Train. It was an easy 2 block walk to the depot. Several good restaurants to choose from within walking distance. Lots of shops to look through.

Close to many attractions, shopping, etc

Posted Jun 17, 2013
Pros: I loved the location for all the attractions and things we did in south Dakota. It is centered around all the attractions so u don't have to drive far
Cons: The only thing that was disappointing, expecially for the size of the hotel was the pool/hot tub. They are both extremely small.
Location: This hotel has endless fun in the location and not far away. You are close to attractions, eating places, shops, etc Just a great location
Our experience at this hotel was great. The location is perfect for all the fun, attractions, and stuff you want to do when you go to South Dakota. The staff went and above and beyond to help us out after we ran into some issues before we left for vacation. The staff is wonderful and on top of questions, requests, etc They did a great job. The area this hotel is in is beautiful and right in the center of gas stations, shops, restaurants, etc perfect for everything and anyone. I cant say enough!!
