Safe, Secure, and Close - this is it!Posted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: Has amenities for travelers like microwave, small fridge, iron and board, hair dryer, and laundry facilities.
Cons: Elevator for those with bad legs.
Location: Yuma - hunting, Indian casino, shopping, history, museum. Dunsmuir - family gatherings, art, local history, surrounding towns and scenery
We go for a safe, secure hotel close to our destination; rather spend on food or events than hotel frills. We've used Oak Tree in Yuma, Arizona and Dunsmuir, California. Both have been near identical and a wonderful experience. Rates are good and most, if not all, include a full breakfast. Can't beat the deal. Already recommended this small chain to others.

close to freeway and room is okPosted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: the hotel is ok but staff tread minority differently.
Cons: tread all people color the same. staff have to be friendly. the towels have to cleaner and better.
Location: location is perfect and they are many thing to do and see within short distant.
reserving in advance is more expensive than I see couple just go in and rent it at the night. I see staff ask for credit deposit from me but for other white couple they did not ask for credit deposit. I do not know why staff tread me differently.

Penny's Cafe was the best part of our stay.Posted May 25, 2015
Cons: The bed was very hard and could not sleep well. There should be daily maid service for the entire room without asking.
We loved the cafe and the staff at the cafe were great, but the bed was hard in the hotel and there was little to no maid service. We were asked if we needed maid service and we said yes, towels and the bed and such. We did receive towels, but the bed was not made or the trash emptied. The view was pretty and it was close to the area's we wanted to visit.

Nice place in the mountainsPosted May 7, 2015
Pros: The room was very nice and you got a free full breakfast at the Diner that is part of the hotel.
Cons: The check out staff. Also the speed of getting food and the room keys don't work a lot of the time.
Location: There is a waterfall to walk to near by.
The staff at check in was very nice and accomodating. At check out .... not so much... but ok. It was a great room to relax and rest.

Comfort & Amenities off the beaten path!Posted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: Comfort, price, convenient location right off Interstate 5.
Location: Next door to a great 24-hour cafe next door - Penny's Diner.
Found this place by accident when we went to eat at the charming diner next door! It has great comfort and amenities at a very reasonable price. Awesome staff! And did I mention it's quiet here? Will be coming back for sure!

Good option if the smell issues are resolvedPosted Apr 20, 2015 on Hotels
This is a great option for a stay while you're on the road. The diner on the property is fantastic. The property and rooms appeared clean enough. However, the hotel and our room smelled of an unpleasant combination of clorox and human waste. I don't know if there was an issue with an overflown toilette or their septic system needs updating, but it was overpowering at times. If this problem is resolved, I would stay here again while traveling.
