“Great Time”

The staff are very helpful at this location and the rooms are clean. Great spot for the price.

“Great deal, but there's this one thing...”

So this hotel has big, inexpensive, clean rooms. It has breakfast in the morning. It has a friendly staff. It also has a cheap Mexican restaurant and bar attached to it. This created a few interesting moments, such as the police in the parking lot breaking up a fight and a drunk guy banging on my door at 2 in the morning because he thought it was his room. I never felt threatened at all (and I'm a woman and was staying there alone), but it was annoying and added a slightly sleazy feeling to what is otherwise a perfectly good budget hotel.

Area recommendations

La Conner, about 20 minutes away, is SUCH a charming town! Also, the Skagit Food Co-Op in Mt Vernon has GREAT deli food and super friendly staff.

“Decent Place to Stay!”

It wasn't fancy but everything was clean. The HVAC worked well too. The bed was very comfy and they had lots of pillows. They had different types of pillows to you could find your favorite. OH, if you like Mexican Food, the restaurant in front of this Day Inn is really good and the prices are great too. We'd definitely stay again.

Area recommendations

Just a bit north on Riverside Drive is a big shopping center with a Home Depot, Best Buy and across the street from that is a COSTCO. The COSTCO has a gas station.

We needed rooms for a nearby wedding. This hotel was more than adequate for me and my family, we were in 4 rooms total and found the hotel to be close and accomodating to our needs. The only down side, there is a bar attached to this hotel, so if you are in a room at that end of the hotel-it may be a bit disturbing, but all in all we would recommend!

Anacortes/Deception Pass are beautiful and just a short drive away!

“Not a place I'd recommend”

While they did easily "upgrade" us to a pet friendly room for half the normal fee, the place was kind of dumpy. They kept the back door open, allowing anyone to walk in and with the bowling alley and liquor store nearby, it didn't make us feel very safe.

“dont judge a book by its cover”

Judging by the neighborhood, I anticipated mediocre; but what I got was spectacular friendly customer service. The rooms were spotlessly clean and newly remodeled. Easy access to freeway and to Anacortes. But what I would return for again and again is the caring friendly staff at the front desk!
