“Great Place in the Middle of Nowhere”

Fairfield is surprisingly modern and very clean to be in the middle of no name Illinois. I stayed here on business and a week later passing by on a personal trip to TN. I would recommend it if you need somewhere to stay as a stop through, as Mt. Vernon isn't exactly a tourist destination. Breakfast (hot and cold options) is available at no cost. Plus there is a Walmart 2 minutes away in case you need to pick up some things.

“Holiday Getaway”

We travel down to Southern IL every Christmas to spend the weekend with my sister. This hotel is always very accommodating and very friendly. The rooms are always clean and the breakfast is unbelievable. There is something at breakfast for our entire family, even 5 year old twins! We always leave this hotel wondering when our next visit will be.

“Comfortable and Clean”

We were very happy staying at this location. Very comfortable king-size bed. Nice clean pool and spa. Continental breakfast was nothing extra ordinary but good. Extra money was well worth spending.
