Room with a view

Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: At least the refrigerator worked. Nice shower even though the hot and cold water lines are opposite where they should be.
Cons: Maybe OK place later after renovation is completed, but not now.
Location: Location is convenient to highway and plenty of eating choices within a couple of blocks.
Last stop on trip home. Hotel is under renovation, were not advised of this. First room assigned faced huge pile of old beds, pallets, and other assorted reno materials. Went back to ask for different room and was given room in different part of hotel. This was a renovated room that faced a grassy area which made it better for our dog. For the price paid, this room was not worth it. Of the five hotels we stayed at, this was easily the worst value.

Decent Hotel

Posted Sep 18, 2014
Location: Hotel is next to freeway with restaurants, gas station.
This is a hotel that is under renovation. There a tons of bath tubs / beds / mattress /etc in the parking lot. They open only the rooms that have been renovated. My room has everything new and very clean.

Stop along the way

Posted Sep 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
On vacation needed to stop on the way, also needed internet service. The motel seemed to be going through some work. Construction material was somewhat neat but piled in walkways. Internet did not work from 7 PM to time of departure about 7AM. Plumbing in the shower hot was cold and cold was hot. Staff didn't seem to care about needs of customer. I would definitely pay more to stay some where else.

Decent low cost very basic room

It was a very basic Motel 6 stay. I appreciate the opportunity to get a few hours of sleep for a low price as I have a few days of driving to do.

you get what you pay for

My husband and I only needed a one-night stay for an event. We wanted something inexpensive and this place definitely fit the bill. Our room appeared as though it had not been vacuumed and it had a dirty smell. It was dusty. We had trouble upon checking in. The desk attendant swiped our credit card about 10 times in order to register us on the hotels.com website. We were able to pay but not register our stay to collect rewards. It was a quiet stay and fulfilled our need for a cheap place for one night but definitely not a long term family-type place.

We booked at the last minute and with a craft fair in town they were very accommodating. The are in the process of renovating the upstairs rooms but you would never know it there was no mess visable. Would stay here again

The staff was very kind and helpful. Although it was under renovation, the new rooms were fine. Never have I received a call from the staff as soon as I was settling in my room to make sure to call them for any needs or questions about the town I might have. Also, the woman at the front desk was training a young man when I arrived showing him how to give fast and kind service to me. It was great to see, in that I was a manager in the food and beverage business for years, and in today's world service to the public is deplorable. Kudos!

Overall experience

Pros: It was fine for the price.
Cons: HOT WATER.
Location: N/A
The room was fine for the price, but there was little, to no hot water. No one likes to take an ice cold shower in the morning.

Get what you pay for...

Our family was just looking for a reasonably priced hotel to stay at while visiting loved ones. The motel was under construction at the time of the visit so the outside appearance wasn't the best. The room though looked clean and suitable. Unfortunately though during our stay we seen 2 unfriendly insects in the room (starts with an "R") and as a result we won't be going back.
