This family owned hotel was super clean, very friendly and accomodating. The staff is bilingual and could not be more helpful. The garden was a lovely surprise and a great place to have glass of wine after a long day. Loved our brief stay.

The hotel staff was friendly and eager to help. the hotel was more than we expected, it had free parking, was very clean and very nicely renovated. the rates were good as well. they had a great courtyard, but it was a little too chilly for us to use. would stay there again.

The Hotel Diana is very conveniently located in Pompeii, to all attractions and the railway stations. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Their English language skills really appreciated by this non-italian speaker! Breakfast good continental tyle. The room was comfortable but the bathroom very small and compact. Free internet was great.

Really had a nice stay. Room was small but clean. Staff was very friendly. They had a really nice breakfast. Very good location if you come in by train. Only 2 blocks away. The Pompeii ruins are about a 15 minute walk.

Wonderful stay at this hotel. Staff friendly and helpful.Perfect location for visiting the sites and close to the railway network for visiting Naples. Hoping to go back again soon!

“Good Value”

The staff was great. We came to Pompeii without a plan and they offered good advice and ultimately organized a local guide who met us at the hotel and gave us a private tour for 2+ hours. The room was not special, but it was clean. The shower was a stand-up with a shower curtain down to the floor. We expected to have a flood on the bathroom floor, but it actually work OK. The location is about 10 minutes walking from an entrance to the Pompeii ruins, but this is not the main entrance. This entrance is adjacent to the downtown of the modern Pompei city. This downtown area is 5 minutes from the hotel and is worth taking a stroll to see. The entrance to the ruins closest to the hotel is great if you have a guide or like to explore on your own. Most of the tourist services at the ruins are located at the other entrance which is 20-25 minutes away walking. We would stay in this hotel again because the staff was so helpful.

“decent stay”

The staff at this hotel were very friendly & helpful. Our room was very cute & quaint, but the walls were very thin & we could hear the man on the phone next to us very clearly, which made it hard to sleep. We booked the tour of Mt Vesuvius through the hotel & it was great. Would definitely recommend doing that, & it was only 10 euros a person. The breakfast was ok, the best crossiants we had in Italy but otherwise very basic. We wanted to stay here our 2nd night but they were booked so we had to move.

“DECENT HOTEL”

We stayed two nights at the Diana Hotel in Pompei and found the hotel satisfactory. One tip if you are planning to use the ARTECARD don't buy it. The unlimited usage of the transportation is relative because the cancellation of the services. We wasn't able to arrive on time in Naples to visit museums or churches because the train or the circumvensuviana didn't run as scheduled.
