Annex

Posted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Make clearer if you are booking into the annex.
Location: 10mins. Walk to ruins and main town, tourist info centre also close and very helpful.
We were in the annex, this was not evident on booking until we had paid, there was no phone nor wifi, it was 100m from the main hotel and we felt like 2nd class guests. Breakfast was Ok and the room was clean but if you book beware of where you will be staying.

Handy hotel near TrenItalia station

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Close to the Trenitalia train station, and within walking distance if the excavation site.
Being a minute away from the railway station is good as we could make full use of our time in Pomei. Walked to the excavation site after quick check in. Went to the restaurant recommended by the hotel staff, which was excellent.

Staff Make the Difference!

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Good location. Quiet and clean. Free wifi. Breakfast buffet was average, but adequate.
Cons: Being from North America (Canada) we would like more breakfast choices for our tastes. One can only eat a Continental Breakfast for one or two days!
Location: Handy to rail station, dining and Pompeii ruins site.
Staff was so helpful, right from when we made the booking on-line. They arranged two tours for us, and they were both excellent choices. They gave us good advice for train travel and restaurants too. Lovely garden patio area for drinks and relaxing.

A nice hotel, but we were placed into the Diana Inn even though we thought we had booked for the main building, and we felt quite isolated, we got used to the 200 meter walk for breakfast but would have preferred not to have it at all. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English, even though we tried to speak our best Italian !

Net hotel met goed personeel dat ook goed engels spreekt. Wij zaten in een ander gebouw een klein stukje verder. Geen probleem, wel goedkoper.
