Comfortable within easy reach of attractions

Pros: The standard was good and it was centrally located
Cons: The bar could be better stocked. There was no chilled wine available although the proprietor indicated he would ensure it was available in future.
Location: Near to the archaeological site and within walking distance of the station and Prompei town.
A comfortable hotel close to the archaeological site and within easy walking distance of Pompei town. Facilities good and rooms very clean. Hotel does not serve food other than breakfast and you are expected back by 12.00 pm which can be a slight problem if you want a late night out. However, on balance, a good choice.

Conveniently situated to the Pompeii ruins and some nice restaurants. About 1Km from the railway station (to Naples, Herculaneum, Sorrento etc.) The room was fairly basic but had a balcony and was reasonably priced. We stayed for 3 nights in mid-April and were probably the only guests for our 2 nights. The breakfast was fairly simple but the service was good.

Stay in Pompei

The hotel was clean, convenient and the people there were friendly and very kind. The hotel was very warm. Thankfully, there was A/C in the room. The only situation was getting to the hotel. We called from the train station and was told they couldn't give us shuttle. I specifically asked all hotels about shuttle service since we were traveling by train. Per their email, they offered shuttle service. We were cheated by the rate of the local cab driver but were stuck. The hotel is a very short walk in either direction from the Ruins. They did allow us to check-out and keep our luggage there while we were at the ruins. All-in-all, the property was clean and convenient for our one night stay.
