Excellent locationPosted Jul 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
A very pleasant stay indeed - staff were very helpful and it was very useful to be able to park the car and leave it with the security of a locked gate. Air conditioning was efficient and beds were comfortable. Evening drinks prices were competitive. However, the key selling point must be the location of this hotel. We were very close to two of the main entrances to the archaelogical site and were easily able to explore the town of Pompeii itself. We were also well placed for the very good public transport system in this area, and my firm advice would be to use public transport every time in preference to your own car when visiting other local places such as Vesuvius, Naples, and Sorrento.

Great Hotel in a excellent locationPosted Feb 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
My family of four stayed two nights at the hotel Iside and truly enjoyed our stay. Excellent location with safe easily accessable parking. Rooms were good sized with a large bathroom. The location was easily excessable to the major Pompei sites and a short walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Wifi didn't work well on the second third floor but worked well in the lobby. Breaskfast was fantastic each day and the staff was knowledgable and friendly. Would definately stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying at Iside. It is a family run business and their attention to detail made our holiday very easy. The hotel is extremely clean, comfortable and perfectly located for a Pompeii adventure.

We were very happy with the hotel. We were made very welcome and the atmosphere was very friendly. All the staff including the cleaning ladies were friendly and helpful. Every effort was made to assist us with transport details etc and and all queries were handled very well and efficiently. The hotel is very well located and is within 15 minutes walk to the ruins, restaurants, rail and bus services and amenities. We would certainly reccommend the hotel to other people and would return there again. Great value for money!!!

Very handy for the ruinsPosted Aug 13, 2012 on Hotels.com
After reading a travel book they painted a bleak picture of Pompeii. However it's a great town that is not at all "seedy". The hotel is perfectly located for the main attractions and a good price. 5 mins from the main entrance to the ruins and 10 mins walk from the station so if you're fit walk it! (don't get sucked into a €10 cab, you will kick yourself if you do) the receptionist spoke such little English we conversed in smiles and nods but she clearly was friendly and gave us a map of the local area, the room was a little tired but we got a balcony which was nice to sit on in the HOT evenings

Close to Pompei and amazing breakfast included!Posted May 16, 2012 on Hotels.com
Excellent value for the money. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms spotless. Each morning they provided warm fresh bread and croissants, fruit including fresh oranges from their tree and wonderful coffee. The location of the Hotel was only a short walk from the back entrance of Pompeii. Loved it!

HOTEL ISIDE, POMPEII - DEC 2011Posted Jan 4, 2012
Pros: Very clean and good location.
Cons: Breakfast was limited, also had to ask for more coffee each day.
Location: Just behind the main street into new pompeii - nice and quiet
Good location, staff all very friendly, parked car under orange and lemon trees. I wish my italian was better to communicate with the staff. Try to fit a visit to vesuvious, very good and recommended by nice lady in hotel. Pompeii was fantastic, much better than i thought it would be. Building next door was derelict but this hotel was tidy and OK for a 3 star. We also had a run to Sorrento and down the Almalfi coast - an extra treat with a lovely sunset.

Iside - On the doorstep of Pompeii's ruinsPosted Jul 15, 2011 on Hotels.com
Hotel with beautiful views and surrounded with bird song. The excavations are round the corner, so too is a large supermarket, all within a short walk. I used different Pompei stations to access the CircumVesuviana, all an interesting walk away.
