Should be a 5 star hotel!Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: As Above
Cons: Room card stopped working daily and needed reset, shower isn't contained and as a result made a bit of a mess while in use.
Location: Plenty, the village is nice a trip to Pompeii is easy by foot and you can visit neighbouring villages like Sorento easily enough.
When we first arrived we didn't expect something so nice! We got our card and went upstairs to our room it was vary spacious and comfortable, the location was brilliant and so were the hotel features such as a shutter to block out the sun while you slept. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful everything was freshly baked and there was a huge selection to choose from, but not only was the food fabulous but the coffee and fresh juice was too! Staff looked very elegant in uniforms and were very eager to find out how you thought about your experience. The toilet featured everything you needed including shower gel, shampoo, sewing kit (something that should be in more hotels!) and eye pads!

Good quality hotelPosted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: Staff, cleanliness.
Cons: Bar tending - bell to ring would help?
Location: Pompeii, so enough said. If you do the Versuvius trip, it's a good long walk up to the top!
All very good - not central, but we did not book to be. Would certainly recommend. Only slight downsides, were mosquitos, and a long wait to be served at the bar, which didn't seem to be staffed very often. However, when we were served on any occasion, the staff were fantastic.

Overnight stay to visit pompeii.Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: The rooms were clean. Though strange and dark hotel.
Cons: Staff service overall on arrival. one very polite receptionist later on. Having the advertised shuttle service running or alternative offered.
Location: Location is quite a way out from the ruins 20 to 30 minutes walk depending on which entrance.
Unfortunately we had booked an accessible room. Staff were most unhelpful and said the entire hotel was full so we couldn't move rooms. I went on line straight away and managed to reserve on two different websites so they clearly were not full. The toilet didn't even have a seat yet they weren't bothered. We asked for a shuttle to the ruins and we're told it was not working for 2 days yet they weren't prepared to offer an alternative. This was the ONLY reason for booking a hotel so far out. Decided to eat in the hotel restaurant as the menu looked ok. The man taking our order was in charge of all the waiting staff and continually broke off to tell them what to do whilst talking to us and us giving our order then having to repeat. Very rude. Service was terrible. They cleared plates while I was still eating and then brought my main while I was still having first course. They didn't understand so manager came over and took it away by which time I'd finished my starter. Staff were busy greeting guests for an Italian function which was their priority. Breakfast was ok. Though very little of each food type was put out in case guests took two. Wouldn't stay again after our experience.

Super quick access to Pompeii and train.Posted Jun 13, 2014
Pros: Room was funky and the staff were very helpful
Location: Pompeii very close and town square walkable
Staff were so helpful. We walked to the town square in the evening which was full of locals and totally enjoyed the experience. Hotel is very close to the train and the entrance to old Pompeii. Nice outside grounds. Staff drove us to the train in the morning. Small cozy feel to it.

Loved this hotel - bit out of town thoughPosted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Everything - it was perfect - the staff were just SO friendly and helpful - the rooms were large, fantastic air con and lovely balcony. thanks all.
Location: The location was the only thing that wasn't that wonderful - a bit far out from everything the walk was only 10 mins supermarket and shops nearby.
It was our first experience in Italy - and we stayed for nearly a month, moving from south to north of the country. This was also our first hotel and to be honest only about one other in the whole time came close to being as good as this hotel.

EXCELLENT CHOICE, GOOD LARGE ROOMS, CLOSE TO RUINS AND MAIN ROAD NETWORK, THE HALF-BOARD OPTION IS VERY GOOD VALUE AND QUALITY IS SUPERIOR TO MANY SIMILAR HOTELS.

Room and breakfast were very satisfactory. Two negative points to mention are firstly somewhat delapitated surroundings without pleasing restaurant choices in near vicinity to the hotel, and secondly a too small parking area. When we returned after dinner we were extremely lucky to be able to squeeze our car in the only very tight parking space left which had by chance become free as one car was leaving.
