My colleague and I originally chose the Crestview due to its proximity to our client. It looked nice from the photos and information online as well - but was even better in person.
I arrived at the Crestview exhausted after a four-hour flight on top of two days of training in Chicago. The night clerk was friendly and check-in was a breeze. When I got to the room, I was delighted to see complimentary bottled water and individually packaged shower gel and hand lotion (so many hotels either have the "communal dispenser" or don't bother to provide it any more).
The large shower with rainfall-style showerhead is a wonderful amenity for the weary traveler feeling grubby from hours on a plane, and it was easy to wind down and relax into the comfortable king-size bed. Had I wanted to drift off to reviewing meeting notes or a chapter from the paperback I was carrying, I could have used the awesome bedside reading lights.
When I got up the next morning, I felt refreshed and could have immediately started a mug of coffee from my room. I took full advantage of the complimentary breakfast in the lobby, and it was delicious. I had bacon, potatoes, a fresh croissant and cranberry juice (as well as a few mugs of coffee) - but there was much more I could have chosen (eggs, yogurt, DIY pancakes, mini muffins).
I felt great all day, which I can't say after many hotel stays. I would definitely stay at the Crestview again, either for business or pleasure!

"Clean, convenient hotel with great free breakfast!"
We came here for a rave at the Shoreline Ampitheater. Clean, comfortable rooms, accommodating, polite staff, yummy hot breakfast, most of the hotel was there for the rave so the staff didn't give us any unnecessary rules or judgement. PLUR...

My most important concern in hotels is "sound": street noise, other patrons, mechanical systems(how loud the shower is when guy next room over takes a shower at 5am, or if air handlers/HVAC systems are too loud, elevator noise, etc.).
I was very pleased with the sound, or in this case, "Lack of sound". Now granted, I was on the top floor, of this 3 floor building, and not facing the street. But none the less, was very happy with this hotel.
