“Beautiful setting, great hotel, distinctly average restaurant”
I stayed here for a 2 night break in late May on a beautifully sunny weekend. The hotel was first class - fantastic setting, beautiful room with balcony (ask for a sea view on booking) and excellent service. The on site golf course, pool and spa facilities are very good. My only disappointment was the meal that we booked as part of the break. Service was slow (despite it not being particularly busy), starter had to be sent back (luke warm soup), limited choice on the table d'hote menu (and only 1 fish dish on the menu - in Donegal!!) and average, over priced food. I would recommend the 5 minute drive to Moville where you will find nicer restaurants (and greater choice of seafood dishes!)
