Nothing is near byPosted Aug 27, 2014
Cons: floors are slippery
Location: Not much this is quite isolated unless near by mans 20 mins in a car
Out of the way and there are better options in nelspruit or graskopf for less. Not a fan of this place and this won't work for many tourists. It takes 75 mins to drive to the start of the canyon

Great place to stayPosted Jun 30, 2014
Top notch place to stay. The grounds are outstanding. Is in a reserve so we saw zebras and monkeys and only stayed 1 night. Breakfast and dinners were that of a 5 star restaurant. Best meals I had the 2 weeks in Africa.

Exquisite lodge in lush surroundings..Posted Jan 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
We couldn't have enjoyed our three night stay at the Blyde River Canyon Lodge. The service, the food, the ambiance and the comfort were excellent. We only wished we'd had more time to spend in the beautiful grounds abundant with wildlife and vegetation.

Delightful FindPosted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
We spent a night here after leaving an incredible stay in Kruger Park. Vicky and her staff were delightful, very accommodating and added extra touches like a warm water bottle between the sheets to take off the winter chill. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful - the nightly visit from the zebras an unexpected bonus.

A little old fashioned in style for our normal taste - bathrooms could do with an update but over all a great little hotel in a fab location. Our evening meal was great and verybtasty and we breakfasted with the Zebra - what could be better.

SpectacularPosted Feb 28, 2012 on Hotels.com
The lodge itself is excellent and location is to kill for. Service is great - it was our last night in SA and it is was very remarkable. Rooms, restaurant and all ambience are top notch - relaxing and pleasant. We wish we stayed there an extra day or two. Plan to return.
