The bed's headboard is made out of a solid concrete. If you miss the pillow, watch your head! The child bed/crib was not set up as requested. It was left in-front of the door without a mattress. At the end of the stay staff always tries to charge you extras for things you didn't do. This has happened twice in a row. The restaurant makes delicious food - that is probably the #1 reason for visiting this lodge. The bathroom (including the toilet and the shower) are in the bedroom so there is no privacy.

Stylish hotel in great setting.
We had a very pleasant stay in this upmarket boutique hotel. The room was very well appointed and the pool area excellent. The location is on a hill overlooking Nelspruit and we dined well at the in-house restaurant on the terrace.

The grounds are great and location was great. The views are also great. Breakfast is included and was wonderful. The only drawbacks are there is no bathroom door and their on-site restaurant was closed for an event. I wish I had known that. That being said, it's a great place to stay and I would recommend to all.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff!
This hotel was beautifully situated with awesome views. The staff were lovely, friendly and extremely helpful at all stages of the process! The room was great and exactly as described. The food was fabulous and the attached restaurant was outstanding. They gave lovely complimentary nibbles each evening. They also helped with arranging a safari which conveniently picked us up from the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel!!

If in Nelspruit, would definitely stay again
Perfect last-stop before setting off for a few nights in Kruger National Park huts. Breakfast was very delicious, staff friendly, fantastic views, beautiful pool area, and very friendly property great dane (his name is Frank). I expected rooms to be a bit fancier for a 5-star rating on Hotels.com, but they were clean, comfortable, and nice.

A gem in the lowveld
The hotel is beautifully decorated with a very classy feeling to it. The staff were welcoming and professional, we will definitely recommend it. The restaurant has the most beautiful view of the Nelspruit and the surrounding area, the food was excellent best in town. Best gnocchi outside Italy!!!

Christmas stay 2015.
This guest house deserves the good ratings given by the majority of people. Really nice location with fantastic views. Staff are helpfull and friendly. Wi fi is slow (as always in ZA guest houses). Orange restaurant offered a good choice of food in a lovely setting but service can be a little amateurish. Christmas Day meal was excellent with really good service ar a reasonable price. I would stay here again and would use the restaurant but not every night.

A Gem in Nelspruit
Centrally located right on the highest point in Nelspruit, this hidden gem offers 360 degree views of the entire city both day and night. The onsite Orange restaurant is simply divine and offers superb dining and night views whilst the breakfast setting is also superb by the poolside.

Never disappoints
We have stayed here a few times and one thing that stands out is that the rooms are constantly maintained and upgraded, keeping the condition of the rooms almost like new. The room is very comfortable with a very comfortable bed, spacious in-room bathroom and a kitchenette with microwave. The breakfast special of the day is always new and delicious, and there is also a good restaurant on the same property.

Great surprise.
We have planned to stay only one night there, but if we knew that it was soo good it would be more. It is a hotel on a hill with a beautiful view of the city. The rooms are large and comfortable as it is found in a charming hotel. The attendants could not be more friendly and the breakfast is served with a smile in a very nice place. The rooms are clean and very quiet. Excellent price performance.

Wish I could have stayed longer.
I found the hotel by reviewing Trip Advisor ratings of hotels in Nelspruit once we determined that would be our stopping point on our journey south. The hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were very comfortable and the restaurant for dinner was very nice. Because we arrived near dark, I did not see the grounds, pool, and dining area for breakfast until morning. It was beautiful and breakfast was excellent. U wish I could have stayed and enjoyed the facilities for another day but my itinerary did not allow for that. I wod highly recommend this "lodge".

Nice and small hotel near Kruger Park
The hotel is near Kruger park, it is small but at the same time nice and very quiet, their rooms are wide and very clean and the staff is very efficient. Inside the hotel there is a very good restaurant.

Une bonne adresse
Une belle adresse entre Johannesburg et le Parc Kruger. Cette étape n'était pas prévue dans notre périple mais au final c'était plutôt pas mal. On est au calme. L'hôtel dispose d'une belle vue, les chambres sont grandes et bien équipées. Le personnel est vraiment sympathique et le petit déjeuner excellent. Un avis un peu plus mitigé sur le restaurant. C'est vraiment très bon avec une vue magnifique mais c'est un peu lent quand le restaurant accueil des groupes. Il faut donc cas arriver tôt. Demander une table en terrasse même si vous n'êtes pas certain de l'avoir.

Super mooie lodge, zeer ruime en mooie kamer, goede wifi, super lekker ontbijt, heel vriendelijk onthaal en bediening, heel mooi zwembad en pool house in een mooie tuin, bewaakte parkeerplaats, super lekker gegeten in het restaurant met prachtig uitzicht op de stad.

O Hotel possui oito apartamentos. O meu comportava quatro pessoas, duas camas de casal sendo uma no mezanino. Tem um excelente restaurante, SPA, piscina, estacionamento, excelente atendimento. Voltaria.
