We were only able to stay for one night at La Kruger before heading back to JNB to catch our flight home. We booked it because we needed a decent WIFI connection to do our COVID testing and am so glad we did. What a nice way to end a two week stay in Kruger. Even though we only stayed of one night; the managers Jacques and Marshelle treated us like royalty. The chalet was wonderful and the dinner superb. A nice bonus was seeing the resident lesser bush babies come out just after sunset. If you want to visit the southern part of Kruger and want accommodations that are quite a bit more upscale than the in park offerings at a ver reasonable price then La Kruger might the a good choice for you. It's very close to Crocodile Bridge Gate and being located in Marloth Park has plenty to see and do right near the propery itself with lovely chalets, great service and a welcoming staff.

Overall great room & convenient Kruger safaris
Staff were excellent and made our stay enjoyable. The lodge has large rooms and the outdoor shower was a real treat. The restaurant food was also a good standard.

It's a small lodge, but a wonderful one with personal attention paid to every detail. The staff is very friendly and personable, the accommodations are beautiful, the food is excellent, etc. I loved, for example, that the room had both an indoor and an outdoor shower!

No power during load shedding
There are no emergency generators to power air-conditioners during power outages, which leads to a uncomfortable heat in the rooms. Apart from this the lodge is fabulous and the staff very friendly and accommodating.

Courteous and friendly staff that pampers you as their guest. The accommodations are modern and in a lovely setting in Marloth park. The location is conducive to hiking along the crocodile river (adjacent to Kruger national park) ; and the crocodile gate entrance to Kruger national park. (20 minute drive) Our personalized safari experience was wonderful at this intimate , exceptional lodge!

More than you will ever expect!
Wonderful people, great food, great clean rooms...it has everything. Just to give you an idea of how thoughtful they are: they even give you vanilla scented bug repellent lotion in your bathroom toiletries.This hotel will make your trip memorable, and enjoyable. We did the full day kruger park tour and they have a wonderful tour operator they utilize. I wish I could have stayed another week!

Excellent stay
I had booked 6 rooms for my group. It was a lovely stay and our people were very pleased. The staff was excellent whether at the front desk (NIck or Sandra) or in the dining room. I hope to bring a group back again in the future.

Die Lodge liegt ca. 20 Minuten vom Kruger Park entfernt. Die Lodge ist sehr liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann in der Lodge Abendessen , als Menü. Das Essen war liebevoll zubereitet und sehr lecker. Ein sehr schöner Abend.

Die Unterkunft an sich ist sehr schön. Leider gibt es hier regelmäßige Stromausfälle sodass wir von abends bis zum nächsten Morgen auch kein WiFi hatten was sehr ärgerlich war, da wir unsere Reise weiter planen wollten. Relativ nah am Crocodile Gate, sodass man hier nicht ewig fahren muss.

Hôtel parfait, les lodges sont très bien aménagés, d'une propreté irréprochable et avec un peu de chance on peut trouver un impala en tirant ses rideaux le matin. Le personnel est accueillant et efficace. La petite touche en plus : la douche extérieure.

Super Hotel für Safaris im Krüger Nationalpark. Das Hotel übernimmt die ganze Koordination & gibt auch verpflegungspackages mit! Das Team ist super & sehr bemüht! Abends wird am Lagerfeuer hervorragendes Essen serviert! Das Hotel ist ein super Rückzugsort, da es nur 8 Zimmer hat!

Wir haben in der LaKruger Lifestyle Lodge 3 Nächte übernachtet. Der Stanort ist bestens für Safaris in den Kruger-Park geeignet. Die Lodge ist in einem gepflegten Zustand. Die Zimmer und die Anlage sind sehr sauber. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommmend.

We booked a room for around 100 € a night so expected something nice. But we got a room on the ground floor with two windows, of which one was directed to the restaurant and the other one had a big brown fence in front of it. Receptionist was really helpful and friendly but giving us a room like that for this amount of money is an effrontery.

L'hôtel est très dépaysant tout en gardant le minimum de confort nécessaire. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la literie et les petites attentions du personnel dans la chambre. Rien a dire non plus sur la propreté qui était irréprochable ! L'accueil est parfait et la restauration était particulièrement appréciable ! Un bémol : le wifi ne marche vraiment pas très bien.

Hübsche Lodge in der Nähe des Crocodile Gates
Aufenthalt für 2 Nächte, um den Krüger Nationalpark zu besuchen. Die Suite war sehr geräumig, mit einem großen Doppelbett, das Bad war mit Dusche und Wanne, sowie Außendusche ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war für 4 Sterne ungenügend, nur auf Nachfrage erhielt man Brot oder weiteres. Zum Abendessen gab es ein 3 Gangmenu, welches sehr gut war.

Mejores opciones disponibles
No recomiendo este hotel, hay mejores opciones en la zona. El precio es excesivo para el tipo de habitaciones q ofrecen. Nuestra habitacion estaba junto a la zona d lavanderia o algo similar porque escuchamos toda la noche ruidos d maquinas. No hay hoteles o restaurantes en la zona proxima por lo q te ves obligado a cenar en su restaurante a un precio muy excesivo. El personal esta solo interesado en facturar servicios, situacion incomoda. La wifi funcionaba a ratos y limitada. Definitivamente no recomiendo este hotel.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und Personal,was einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen ablesen will.Die Cottages mit eigener Terasse,Feuerstelle beim Abendessen und persönlichem Abendessen-Service sind sehr gut ausgestattet.Der komplette Luxus,man ist direkt irritiert.Wirklich sehr ehr schön,aber die "Straße" bei der Anreise war mehr ne Schotterpiste,man glaubt sich verfahren zuhaben.

Eu e meu marido, chegamos por volta de 19:30h do dia 11/04, fomos bem recebidos pela equipe do hotel, e nos oferecido serviço de jantar, que aceitamos, até porque o hotel encontra-se em área isolada de difícil acesso. Tomamos um banho e fomos jantar, o ambiente do hotel é bem familiar, nesta noite encontravam-se apenas 3 funcionários. Jantar agradável. No dia seguinte,após café da manhã quando entramos no carro em direção ao Parque Kruger, principal atração da região, para nosso espanto ao checar minha carteira estava faltando US$ 650,00 dólares!!!! Imediatamente nos dirigimos ao gerente do hotel, que disse não poder fazer nada!!!!!!! Chamamos a polícia do distrito de KOMATIPOORT, que realizou o boletim de ocorrência e abriu inquérito de investigação. O que nos surpreende é que os responsáveis pelo hotel, se abstiveram de qualquer responsabilidade e não fizeram qualquer movimentação para esclarecer o ocorrido, mesmo tendo apenas 3 funcionários naquele período curto em que nos ausentamos do quarto, no jantar e café da manhã, nesse período um experinte ladrão entrou no quarto. Jamais indicaria este hotel, e caso fiquem nele, tenham muito cuidado!!!!

Positivt: Fantastisk lækkert hotel og pragtfuldt personale. Du/I bliver behandlet som kongelige og får fantastisk mad og vin. Ideelt til afslapning og forkælelse. Negativt: Området er ikke specielt spændende, men ideelt til safari i Kruger parken (ca. 10 min kørsel fra porten). Alt i alt: Kan kun anbefales

++++++: Personal ( besonders nett !, freundlich, schnell, hilfsbereit), Zimmer ( groß+ top ausgestattet, W-LAN gut, schön Terrasse mit Poolblick), Hotel ( schöne Speiseterrasse, Sitzecke mit Feuerstelle- Feuer brannte jeden Abend, Service ( wir haben von den angebotenen Arrangements den Morning- Walk und die Evening-Tour genutzt - Hotelbus brachte uns hin und zurück - bei Evening-Tour 23h! )- TOP!!; jeder Wunsch sofort erfüllt -: ein ganz kleines Minus für den letzten Kilometer der Anfahrt- Schotterpiste
