Super place to stay near Kruger's Phalaborwa gatePosted Mar 4, 2012 on Hotels.com
We were extremely satisfied with our house and at a super rate. The restaurant was also serving nicely priced and good quality meals and the reception staff was very helpful

Not what we had booked but were charged anyway!!Posted Jan 9, 2012
Cons: The mouldy smell, the green, grimmy swimming pool and the toxic looking jelly desert.
Location: Very close to Kruger Park - small supermarket nearby. The safari company used by the lodge is not bad.
We had reserved two family rooms so that my husband and I could stay in one and our teenage daughters in the other. When we arrived the hotel had moved our reservation to a self catering house (that sleeps 8 people) and a family room for our daughters. The house and the hotel were in two seperate areas of the lodge and quite far apart so needless to say, we kept the family together in the house. It was not what I had reserved and paid for yet we were charged the full amount for the original booking. The hotel has a restaurant which serves the most horrible food I have ever eaten. The Christmas dinner buffet was just nasty!!! I would not recomend going here unless you want to rent a self catering house and do your own cooking. OH AND BY THE WAY GREEN IS NOT THE NORMAL COLOUR FOR A SWIMMING POOL!!!!!!

Holiday safariPosted Jan 2, 2012 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed our stay at Sefapane. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our TV after the first day and the hotel staff moved us to a different chalet. The Safaris to the kruger national park were also good, unfortunately i didn't get to see many animals, but that is a bit of hit-and-miss as it's a big park and wild animals are generally wary of human contact. Sefapane is highly recommended as a resort, however you take your chances with the safaris and seeing the big 5.
