“Hotel Eiger in Murren Switzerland”

Can't say enough about this hotel and it's owners and employee's. First class all the way. A bit of a struggle to get there..first a gondola then a train into Murren (perched on the side of a beautiful mountain). But...sincerely the best hotel in the area. Great restaurant with traditional Swiss fare...free breakfasts that include just about everything (including champagne) and a "welcome to Eiger" 6:30pm champagne meet and greet. Loved every minute of Murren and the surrounding area..ALPs so close looks like you can touch them from your patio.

Lovely location, with views of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau Murren is a beautiful village one cannot exaggerate how beautiful the area truly is the hotel is in outstanding condition, well maintained, thoughtfully managed, clean and comfortable it is conveniently located the staff is fluent in at least 4 languages each member of the staff is personable and very competent we were exceptionally well treated, as were all the guests the restaurant is outstanding, the food wonderfully good at breakfast and dinner the sauna and swimming pool were treats to use we have not had better experiences at any hotel anywhere, including many famous luxury chains and resorts
