Best Deal Ever!
Best deal ever - gorgeous location with beautiful pool overlooking a marina of boats. Room was fine and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic! Restaurants and cafes/bars on site on huge patio overlooking marina was fantastic. All for about $150! Wish we had stayed another night!!!

Great Stay
The room was nice and comfortable, although the shower was small. Parking was in a garage under the hotel. To get to the hotel you have to go through the gate at the marina to get to the hotel, but they will validate the ticket so that there is no charge. The breakfast buffet was included, and had a wide variety of foods. The hotel is at the marina where there are cafes and lots of open areas to walk around. It’s alo about a ten minute walk from town.

The hotel is right on the seafront, specifically the marina. It's a nice location very close to the city centre. Excellent staff!

It is a very nicely situated hotel. Close to the waterfront and the views are wonderful. It is in a very quiet area which is what I like.

Was an amazing trip in a great little town. The food around was great and the hotel amenities and everything in the room was perfect. Parking was a bit confusing until they explain on check in. But it was an amazing hotel.

A very pleasant clean and friendly hotel in the Marina of San Rocco, a 20 minute walk to the town centre and Marina of Muggia, there are about 8 decent restaurants in Muggia so a good selection.

Everything like expected only the shower in the room wasn't accessible with the wheelchair. But for one night it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was very good and a big choice of sweet & salty food.

Excellent Hotel, Great Value
We booked one room for our family of four, and were pleasantly surprised to find two spacious connected suites (with two separate bathrooms). The hotel is very clean, offers free parking and a hot breakfast buffet (with a lot of choices) included into a price. The beds were extremely comfortable, bathrooms - modern and super clean. The hotel is very easy to find and located just a short drive from the city center. Hotel staff was very courteous and professional. Check-in/Check-out process was very efficent.

This is a very good hotel at a great value situated inside a marina complex a few kilometers out of town. I read that many guest had problems locating it, the trick is to head for the marina by passing through the marina gates. Friendly staff and a good seafood restaurant located within the marina complex. Breakfast is nice and included in the price

Delighted we chose Hotel San Rocco for a weekend stop before going on a Croatian tour . Wish we could have stayed for longer & would definitely recommend the hotel. The staff could not be faulted and made our stay extra special.

Bella hotel in marina complex
Located in the marina of Porta San Rocca, (follow the insignificant hotel symbol on the Porto San Rocco signage). Secure underground parking. Delightful reception staff. Exterior of hotel rather unremarkable but the interior modern and well furnished. We had a spacious room with a neat nicely furnished balcony, which overlooked the road. 2 bar/cafes within the marina complex itself. Just a 20 minutes road and portside walk to the nice little town of Muggia where there a several trattorias, bars and cafes serving many fresh fish dishes. We were out of season so the hotel pool was sadly closed and the waterside café closed - there are facilities along the harbour walk for seawater swimming and showering. Breakfast was very good. Would very happily stay here again.

A nice and very affordable B&B on the outskirts of
I had a rental car, coming from the Dolomites mountains, so it was very convenient to stay here, with private parking, since cars are not allowed in Venice proper. The place is rustic with friendly owners. I actually enjoyed driving to a local church nearby and leaving my car for the day for free, and taking the bus into Venice with mostly local people.(the ride takes about 30 minutes). The best strategy is to buy an all day 24 hour Venice ACTV tourist pass for 20 euros (28 euros for 48 hours), which can be use on all public transportation, including the "vaporetti" boats which take you to any of the many islands that make up Venice. The card is a terrific bargain. The B & B wa clean and comfortable, the breakfast adequate, with free espresso and cappuccino.

Off the beaten path
The area adjacent to the hotel is under a multi-million dollar development with ritzy bars, restaurants, chic boutiques and obscenely expensive boats in a swank new harbour. As a result this little hotel appears to be out of the way and in the poor part of town - it is not an easy place to find. This aside the hotel was good value for money at about half the cost of hotels within a few blocks.

Pleasant memorable stay
Beautiful hotel located in a perfect picture location, Comfortable room, excellent reception staff, spoke perfect English and very, very helpful with making suggestions to tour the city and to go to Trieste by ferry for very little euros and about. 20 minute ride, picturesque. Great room, very clean, great restaurants area.

A nice surprise
We booked at the last minute after getting our hire car and heading for Trieste. I'm glad we decided to stay in Muggia. My only problem with the hotel was the lack of signage. We spent nearly an hour looking for the San Rocco as it poorly lit and with no sign at all. Very frustrating after driving all day! Nevertheless the staff were welcoming and helpful and the room was clean and spacious. The view across the bay to Trieste was stunning - it must be magnificent when the sailing competitions are in full swing.

I don't know how it is in high season but in September it was excellent for the price. Highly recommended! The only negative thing is that it is quite tedious to find the place especially the parking...

Reasonable value hotel
Re-opened under new management and with staff that are generally keen to assist but rather inexperienced. Car parking on site has been drastically reduced since section around the side has been taken out of use. Beds rather too firm. Breakfast service good but limited choice. Poor phone signal in hotel.

The restaurant was closed. Neither the heat or the air conditioning worked in my room. My room faced the street, where you could hear the traffic at night while sleeping.
