Quiet and Comfortable

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: The night before at the Concourse in Madison, the air conditioner blasted all night. This little Rodeway Inn had quieter air, and I slept better.
Location: For a tasty, interesting supper nearby, try the Fork in the Road in downtown Mukwonago.
We were tired after a day at Old World Wisconsin, and this motel was just what we needed. On checking in, a rambunctious little girl ran into the room next to us, and I thought "Uh-oh," but the walls were substantial enough that we heard little of her. We slept well, and the simple continental breakfast was enough to get us going.

Muskawongo - more like want some musk!

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Cons: everything!
Location: Ivan's Diner, in East Troy was amazing! There is also a Mexican resturant right around the corner from the hotel that was good as well.
The hotel staff accused the person I booked the room for as being dishonest. I initially was not certain the number of people in the room but I knew it would be at least 2, maybe 3. She was incredibly rude and I don't feel like it was any of her business. We were a quiet bunch who was only there to sleep, that's it. The room had a horrible smell to it, which could've been rectified by washing the carpets and curtains (at least)! The door to the bathroom did not close completely which made it uncomfortable when you are sharing a room with someone that is not a family member. The air conditioning did not work and the breaskfast was the worst that I have seen in all my years of staying at hotels.

Cons: More signage on main road and better lighting. Hard to find at night. Continental breakfast was very adequate; better presentation would have helped.
It was clean and adequate. Just a little more attention to detail would help immensely.

Best in the area

If in Mukwonago, don't search further. Much better hotel than it looks like and well worth the money.

Not again

When we walked in you could smell an odor. The free breakfast is pretty much coffee and donuts. Not one of your 4 star hotels.

Shower low flow device barley delivered enough water to rinse the shampoo out of my hair. mold on bathroom ceiling and around shower door. Room was nice and warm, Motel could have done a better job of removing ice by front door.

Didn't know it was there

Pros: The motel was clean and comfortable with a pool and a hot tub
Cons: This is a small Mom and Pop operated place so what you see is what you get
Location: This would be a good place for guys to stay while trying out the numerous golf courses in the area
We needed a room for a nite before our new house was ready to occupy. Found this one on the Expedia search and gave it a shot. It served as a place to spend a night that was quiet, comfortable, and reasonably priced. It would be a good place for a salesman in the area or for a family passing through SE Wi. Small strip mall a few feet away with a couple of places to eat and only 30 mins. from Milwaukee. Ring the bell for service and you will get all the help and info you need. The Cont'l breakfast is sufficient but many places offer more.
