Cheaters and liars

I arrived at the hotel at 10 pm to check in only to be told that they did not have a room for me since some other guests had stayed on. I was offered accommodation at a different hotel. Since I didn't know anything about the other place, I tried to get a room at some of the better hotels near by, but they were all full. Therefore I had no choice but to accept their offer, and I was sent to a different neighborhood to stay at a MUCH lower-end hotel. Complete bait-and-switch. The worst part is that Hotels.com won't refund me unless the hotel agrees to do so. The hotel management, has, to date, refused. This hotel is run by cheats and frankly, why bother with hotels.com, it's not like they offer any kind of insurance if things go wrong.

Stayed at this hotel after several years and expected changes for the good,, but unfortunately cannot report any such change that will improve its rating up from just making it to the grade of an average hotel,,, much too expensive for the type of rooms and service provided to guests. Aircon is noisy and uncontrollable,,,service providers need to be properly trained and be able to speak English,, bathroom fittings need to be made more contemporary ,, the complimentary breakfast is a sham ( not using a stronger language) ,, breakfast is available from 8:00 only ( !! ) with the choice and preparation of items available leaving much to be desired .

close to airport

hotel is very close to airport (both intl and dom terminal) and there is a free airport shuttle - that's all - room/bathroom not very clean, overall condition of property can be much improved and does not match the pictures on the hotel website.
