“very convenient for overnight stays close to the airport”

This is the second time there has been a mix up about the airport shuttle. While the webpage advertises the rate including shuttle service, however, we've had to pay extra for this service.

“Middle of the Slum Neighborhood”

If you are in Mumbai for a short stay or transit then this motel may be ok as it's only minutes away from the airport. Had the deluxe room but the hallway smells like pesticides. There was also loud knock on the door 2 in the morning. Pack your shampoos & soaps as the hotel will not replace one until the soap is razor thin.

Area recommendations

Don't go out as the smell will make you faint. Road is extremely bumpy and pot holes are all over the Mumbai.

“best business class hotel for the money”

staff fluent in english, great free breakfast, always clean, front desk very helpful, concierge knowledgeable, shower leaked onto floor, second floor wedding heard on fifth floor, free airport service worked well, as for hotel overlooking slum ... that is how it workss anywhere in india

Thanks expedia for listing this hotel. Nothing to pick or complaint. One advise to travelers. If you reach Bombay airport at night or early AM use ony prepaid taxi service at airport. Do not allow any one help you find taxi or allow the touch bags. If so 2 or three people wil join for help and later collectivly charge you high amount. it happend to me even I am a Native . I did not get hotel van to hotel. But return with free prompt service. George March 2011

“Transit convenience for a fair price”

This is a very convenient hotel for transitory traveller. Mirage has pick-up and drop service which is a blessing in a crowded Mumbai (Bombay). Hotel policy does not allow visitors to the room, however inform the Registration Desk ahead if you are expecting local family/friends planning to visit you at the hotel so they can be allowed to visit in the privacy of your room and not in the lobby.

Area recommendations

Transitory pasengers proximity to Airport and a leisurely time at Vihar and Powai lakes.

“Mumbai”

This hotel is surround by unhealthy area. slums dwellers every where. Out side bad odor from the sewage system. They published it as 4star hotel. But it is fit for only 2star.

“Mumbai Experience”

First let me thanks Expedia for their fast and effective service.As it was said before the hotel is situated in Airport vicinty which is very effective to bussiness traveler.The neigbourhood is noisy also undergoing some construction activities.The noise was not felt in the rooms I slept.The breakfast was OK still they should improve on their restaurant dishes. Going to Mumbai centre(sightseeing & shopping) is a troublesome idea.The town is far away about 1-2HOURS drive.In the hotel they have taxi service at reasonable price 50-40 USD for 8 hours.The hotel has a very effective Airport shuttle service always available. For some ignorant souls like me small warning.If you asked about India SIM card they will tell you thats foreginer are not allowed to buy it unless under some draconian conditions.This due to security problems and they propose arrange a purchase "under the counter" on infllated price 30-40 USD.No bigger lie the this.
